This guy's wonderful..dedicated tongue-blocking that must have taken years to hone down.....bravo!
Such a sound and spirit brother! Wonderful!!! Thank you Dennis :D
Thank you - this was many years ago, but a fun performance
That's a really nice blues sound on the chromatic. Gives it kind of a lazy summertime jazz feel (whatever that is!). Appreciate you sharing this.
Phrasing baby!!!!! What an Olympian! Dave smoked too!
Thankyou Dennis, i don't have words, you're my favorite harp player.
Lucas Bauer
When I finally get serious about learning the chromatic, I imagine it will sound just like this... Immediately...
love it all. The slapping bass is way cool.
Super! Gimme some, Dave!
Great, Dennis! I can listen to George Smith saying: "Good job, Dennis, you got it!".
Beautiful!
J'adore
Tone to the bone Bro
Extremely Cool ---- Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooa...........................................................
Very nice Dennis lovely ;-)
Sublime !
Fantastique, j'adoreeeeeeeeee
@unklbuk1 - I am playing a Hohner 270 Deluxe in this one, my favorite out of box chromatic, aside from the 16-hole Hohner Super 64X
Very nice playing.
Steph.
Oh yes, I dig this, man. Thanks Aki for the Tip (Of-The-Top) off! Ade
nice!
Great Playing Dennis, wonderful phrasing and tone, btw you are one of my favorites blues harp players today... Are you playing thru a vintage Fender Princeton Silverface? Best regards and Happy 2018... I'm Bruno blues harp player from Uruguay.
cool
Loved it! I'm going to dust off my chrom right now!
@DennisGruenling Thanks man, i may have to get one, presently i am playing a Hohner " The Chromatica " and i'm finding the square holes are a little rough on the lips and a little harder to tongue block. And dam if i'm not losing alot of my mustache hairs in them..lol. Keep up the great playing man, you have definitely inspired me again after a 5 year layoff.
@helpmefindparents - I actually started on chromatic, switched to diatonic at 3:41, then yes, back to chromatic at 4:30
great fat tone!
3rd let u get the juice of the low end
By the way, the guitar player is good too! Where does he play today? What was his creative destiny? Dany is great!
beautiful blues ,iv can never get that sound from chromatic.any effect pedals used.i would like to know Corny49 England
Is that a Honeywell thermostat on the wall behind you? (Just Kidding) That was some awesome chromatic! Blues with a button, whoda thunk it?!
This is good. On a sidenote, you guys have the skills to allow yourselves a bit more stage presence. Just saying... Again, sweet tunes; impressive!
nice playing brother...what chromatic are you using, and what key did you switch too on your diatonic?
5 ppl can't pour ....out-of-boot before puttin' 'em on. Jealous much?
Don't waste the use of that button, use it.
