    Honestly best way to clean it, use the ball on turf when it's raining or just after. Your ball will be clean as if it's brand new.

    To me one of the best ways to clean your footballs is to play with them on wet AG - most of the stains from playing on dry AG are gone after ~1h of play.

    Scotchbrite pads on sponges work amazing for turf stains (it’s the green rough part of your typical yellow and green sponges). I use it to clean turf marks off cleats and it works wonders. Damp sponge, firm pressure with an open hand, should be golden.

  • @apollo4121
    @apollo4121 Před 10 měsíci +2

    You can easily remove stains and scuffs with a eraser, yeah just an eraser.
    First clean the ball with water then wipe it down if some marks are still visible take a clean eraser then gently scrub it down. It will work.

    I've got a Derbystar ball specially made for turf and it's still a problem . Tried lots of solutions but none worked . Watched your video but no Magic Erasers so tried CIF cream cleaner with micro crystals and a standard sponge. It's come up pretty good. Will try again and, critically, increase the frequency of cleaning .
    Thanks

    You can actually remove those other scuffs.... with a dampened section of the towel, use your index and middle finger, figertips, and apply MASSIVE elbow grease.... I accomplished this with the 18-19 Merlin. My fingertips were sore the next day, but it came out looking ALMOST brand new. No soap required....just enough pressure to pretty much give you a full body workout

    If the ball Is too big to fit in the sink..... Deflate it a bit!!! Smh

    • @Soccerreviewsforyou
      @Soccerreviewsforyou  Před 6 lety +17

      You could do that, but it would make it much more difficult to scrub. Even if you did deflate it, with a small sink like that, you wouldn't have any room to clean the ball with your hands either. The physical scrubbing is far more important here than large quantities of water.

    You don't have to fear scraping and scuffing your expensive ball, because it already looks worn out.
