I got one of these for patch panels. Works great. I install slip on rockers, wheel well arches, ect. Its all i need. Lot easier than the flux core I was using before

It's going to take you longer to clean up the spatter than it did to weld that thing.
Those welds on the D rings did not penetrate at all! Come on guys you know better than that!
Watch from 2:49 on - We pre heat the tabs, then do multiple passes on the top, AND weld the back sides. They're not going anywhere.
@@eastwoodco yes I saw the video hence why I said those welds didn't penetrate! Duh! I dare you to cut those off and see how far they penetrated... They didn't! That steel is almost too thick for a much bigger welder to go through let alone that one! You would have to get that cherry red for any hope of a good weld! That propane torch didn't get that steel hit enough! Smh!
Stop the video pause it and look at the weld around that lug. It definitely looks like Fido's butt. Instead of one pass I think three passes would have been better with that welder around those lugs. A good root pass and then two additional passes. Grinding and then paint covers a multitude of sin.
Yip pushing the mig gun or stick dose not mater.. if it has slag push the gun or stick 15 degrees either way. Nowhere on the internet will you find.. if you push your gun or stick you will have slag inclusions it just says you ( Might have a slag inclusions) a slag inclusion won’t make your weld fail.
Only in some areas slag is not allowed… I have had thousands of my welds ultrasound tested and crack tested in NewZealand. If your still unsure what angle to hold your gun or stick 90 degrees from work ie. no push or pull just 90 degrees…
