    Interesting review. It sounds like they could have used a much better DD for the bass.

      It really would have been a top tier set if they did that imo! 🙂

    Man, I guess I understand why you use the smallest ear caps, but how do you stretch them over wide nozzles?

    That packaging suspiciously looks like tha packaging QDC uses on their few budget models.

    Great review..disappointing the DD is not good. If you compare this with Penon 10th AE which one is better. I like mid centric tuning.

      Thanks!
      I think the midrange on both is similar in quality but edge goes out to the dte500. Midrange is more forward though on the penon compared to the DTE. Treble is far superior on the DTE but the bass is far superior on the penon. Soundstage is wider on the DTE.
      Even though it is pretty back and forth on which is better on certain aspects, for me personally the bass is a dealbreaker on this set, but if it isn't a dealbreaker for you both are great choices 🙂.

      @@PraisedAudio great comparison thanks..still leaning dte500.. Do you think EQ will improve the bass. Or is this iem vented meaning if not vented that would affect DD driver as it requires vent to move air to perform better bass.

      I do not eq much but I don't think EQ can fix the quality of the bass. It can reduce the amount so it is less noticable but I think it is either the driver or dampening that makes the bass quality so poor. I don't know if the iem is vented or not and I no longer have the set to check sorry.

    Ay bro. Great review! Can I ask a question? Do you burn in your IEM’s?

    • @PraisedAudio
      @PraisedAudio  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Thanks! I usually burn in my iems for around a day, but I also get a lot of them already used so many of them are already burned in. I usually give all my iems around a week of use before a review for "mental burn in" even if I don't like them at first. 🙂
