If you own both you’re literally covered for any situation. Both are extremely versatile and can be worn any time but I’d wear Y in the summer and Bleu on date nights. I’d probably reach for Bleu at night and Y for parties. But you can’t go wrong with either.

Just got my YSL Y today and really love it.
My first YSL was Bleu Electrique and also prefer it to Y.
Also have the La Nuit De L'Homme edt that I prefer above all👍
Its not surprising that Bleu Electrique won, its the sweeter and spicer one between the two better for the cold but the thing as good as it was in this comparison, it loses to many other major bangers :)
Side note, the parfumer was inspired by the neon lights of the clubs of an intense lustful electrifying night. That's why the name and bottle design, its representing the glowing (blueish) neons in the night sky (and the brighten black of the night by the city/club lights) and limitless electrifying energy you have at a nightout.

Pra qualquer temperatura e qualquer ocasião, do trabalho até balada. Eu não troco mais, cara. Agora é pro resto da vida comprando esse. Meu antigo perfume usei uns 7 anos, esse provavelmente é mais uns 7 anos no mínimo usando. Até descobrir outro melhor. Tô torcendo pro Y não ficar tão famoso pra não saturar igual One Million, Invictus, etc.

Great video but I would say that no matter how good or bad a fragrence smell if it's light and weak no one is going to smell it and no complements, especially during the cold, while with y edp it's really not that strong when you pass by people it's very strong bc its smell directly on the card... and when they smell blue directly on the card it's was said light?
Few of the rare times that Y Edp lost these street battles. Doesn't matter as long as she in 8:43 approves 😍🤣😅

I have both and think Y EDP is better. Given all the hype that Blue Electrique is getting, I expected much more. I don't really get what all the excitement is about with Blue Electrique. It's just average at best.

Own them both. Y EDP is amazing and so is Electrique. Bleu electrique for the fall/ winter date nights and spring if it's cold. EDP is more versatile year round and works in the summer as long as it's not too hot because it can become a little cloying in super high heat and humidity. Both are fabulous and my girlfriend loves both of them with her other favorites being PDM Layton, Carlisle and Chanel eau extreme. I just wish she enjoyed my Dior elixir because that's currently my favorite right now for the cold.
How the bleu electrique compare to the og sir? Im a little confused of choosing between y edp, bleu electrique, and sauvage edt. Oh btw, my brother have the OG la nuit de lhomme, and personally I think its quite versatile even for warm day.
@@kennyc2281 Bleu electrique is very similar to the og but remember that it's been reformulated and if it's a newer batch it doesn't have the longevity it used to have from the old days. Bleu electrique has better performance and just has some fresher nuances but it's very similar and a better pickup than a newer formulation of the original. I don't have the og formulation but I have the newest version of la Nuit and Bleu electrique and I definitely prefer Bleu. The only Sauvage I recommend is elixir but it's definitely not for everyone. If you really want Sauvage edt going with prada carbon will save you a lot at a discounter. But the performance on Sauvage is much better than carbon. Y EDP is one of my favorites and my girls as well. Great performance but it is a little expensive. Bleu electrique works well year round. I don't really enjoy spicy fragrances during the summer except for at night but you could get away with it. Y EDP and Bleu would be what I'd go with but if Sauvage is your thing you won't go wrong with that either.

What's a good summer fragrance that isn't cloying in high heat besides Aventus or Aventus clones? I thought about Acqua Di Gio Profumo but I wasn't sure if it's more of a summer night fragrance as opposed to summer day
@@cecilsays-legalmindsetcant1339 Profondo would be better for very high heat than profumo. I normally wear PDM Percival, Chanel allure homme sport for very hot days and eau extreme during the evening/night. But I like heartier fragrances specifically colder weather ones. If you like grapefruit try out Dolce & Gabbana light blue forever. I don't mind strong fragrances in the summer which is also why I wear YSL edp in 80+ degree weather but that fragrance is the definition of cloying lmao so it really depends on your taste.
I'm gutted that bleu électrique had been discontinued. Do you think YSL Y is a good replacement for a similar smell? I'm torn between getting YSY L EDP, Versace Dylan Blue EDT and Versace Eros EDP. I love bleu électrique a lot and was the first proper fragrance I bought.

That La Nuit DNA has been tested and proven since 2009, but Y EDP is one of the best performers of all blue fragrances.

I have a 2010 vintage "OG" BOTTLE of the original formula. One of my favorite scents that I own. And, keep in mind that I have 87 different bottles, ranging from high end designer, middle of the road underrated sleeper designer frags, and uber expensive niches, that are hyped up power houses. With all that in mind. I am eyeing a bottle of this new blue juice. But, being that I have over 3 ounces left of the "OG", should I go ahead and cop this blue juice, or is it really worth it? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Hey man, I blind bought bleu electrique after smelling la nuit de lhomme edt in store. Never smelled the OG formulation tho. I was really happy with the purchase. Good combination between sweet and fresh! Okay performance and longevity on my skin, not bad but also not beastly. I would recommend this fragrance.
It always smells differently when applied to the skin. These test strips don't always give the same impression. Most of my opinions change once I actually apply the fragrance

It’s so interesting how subjective fragrance is. Some women say one is more sweet than the other and then other women say the opposite. Very interesting the way olfactory receptor work. The list of variables that can sway a fragrance opinion is quite a long list.

I’ve smelled Y and I wasn’t really impressed with it personally. it really doesn’t have the same magic as Bleu. Not knocking Y. It just doesn’t appeal to me as much as Bleu

Think it depends on the weather and the wearer Ive gotten compliments 6hrs into my work day wearing La Nuit Bleu Electric and I still smell it good on my own skin 12+ hrs later especially my forearm this area seems to last the longest for me if I don't shower at night Ive even smelt traces of it lingering and that's talking sprayed on 7a.m. going to bed at 11p.m 16hrs beast at least with my chemistry 10/10 fragrance my new signature already bought 8 bottles to make sure I have mine!! XD and I've also layered this YSL LNDLH BL 2 sprays to 1 half spray of sauvage EDT/EDP since they share alot of notes thought why not try it and honestly I don't know if I love or hate the layering but I can't stop smelling it so it's not repulsive at least but definitely different I would like of someone else can try at least on paper and let me know what they think
Y is so much better than Blue. I just got blue and it’s nice but I have Y EDP and Y le parfum and they’re honestly one of my favorite fragrances of all time

But Bleu Electrique is better than average fragrances in performance! It’s better than the Original La Nuit De L’homme and many other competitors. So it’s not bad in performance!

Careful guys, i own both bleu electrique and Y edp. Both smell nice but electrique has a fatal flaw, i can barely smell it at all. I think the noses/sense of smell from women is more sensitve but i want to smell my fragrance too. Smell it before you buy. I blind bought it. It was an mistake cause i will never wear it. It´s way too weak and it honestly doesn´t smell as good as Y edp.
Must be just you lol. I gave bleu electrique an official wearing the other day and I smelled it on myself for hours.

Same I get 6hrs of projection & sillage got a compliment 6 hrs in from feet away thats my measurement, and it last on my skin 10-12hrs strong skin scent and 16hrs has faded to light skin scent for me it's a BEAST 10/10 will riot if discontinued
