- The release of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is imminent, with a projected date of May 10th. On MindQ, we would like to provide you with a concise overview of the prequel series of films and examine two intriguing subjects that may have arisen in your thoughts. Firstly, what are the distinct species of evolved Apes? Secondly, what are the four mechanisms via which an ape can attain higher intellect in this fictitious realm? Let's begin by discussing the many types of apes. Contrary to popular belief, there are actually four species, not three.

Caesar arc was the stone age for apes. Noa arc is the bronze age
The Lawgiver's arc is the Iron age.
Not really, more like a brigde between 2
Nah caeser was from a pre advanced time, I’d say Noah is the Stone Age
These movies are not prequels they are a new timeline because in the originals humans and apes were changed because of nuclear radiation
Yeah it's crazy how these movies have been around for years now yet some people still call them prequels despite the fact that they clearly exist in a separate continuity from the original films
Really, the 2011 movie shouldn't have been called "The Origins" and the people behind it could really have found another, better title for it !
It's really due to this title which create confusion and many people unaware believe that these movies are prequels thus not.
I think they changed it from nuclear radiation to a virus to make it more realistic to the times and in the movie conquest the planet of the apes the simian flu was there it just didn’t kill humans it killed all Cats and dogs so the humans had to use apes as pets and slaves that’s the only real change
@@dudotolivier6363 how did the title confuse literally anyone
@@harveycooper5098 The title is "Origins". It's pretty obvious why it is confuzing.
This movie is an production of the "Planet of the Apes" franchise, the first one which came after a very long time after the iconic 1960-70 5 first movies series (okay, between there the Tim Burton 2001 movie, butt his one didn't have much impact or significance in everything, so always put on the side).
Because of its title which implied that the movie will and indeed explore the very beginning of the apes rising and how it even came to be, and because it was a production released after all the others movies, people so though this movie was going to be a prequel.
A prequel is, if you don't know, a production which is released after another, first base production but set in term of chronology of the lore and history of the latter, before it.
People though the 2011 movie was a prequel to the famous 1968 initial movie and all of its sequels, thus it isn't the case at all.
As the 2011 movie and its own sequels are reboot, which is productions which just start again everything from zero and start a new iteration apart from the previous ones.
It would have been better that the movie just was called "Planet of the Apes" for short, and not having "Origins", in order to not made people think that was a prequel.
It was also implied in Rise that ALZ113 was shipped globally as they show it being mass produced and packaged. The implications that it was being shipped to other labs either around the country or around the world suggesting that apes in other labs may have gone through the same "enlightenment", possibly getting out when humas in those areas were exposed to the virus. Not to mention that the pilot neighbor also spread the Simian Flu when he traveled on his flight.
That was suggested when they met Bad Ape in War, as he was from a different area.
So the simean flu transmitted by humans, when in contact with apes, had the same effect as the ALZ-113 on Rise' apes?
ALZ 113 is the Simian Flu. It kills fewer older human adult humans along with dogs and cats.
Human children are immune to the virus making them host asymptomatic carriers. But as they grow up, the virus mutates most of them effecting their brain cells to devolve their intelligence to primitive speechless state.
Bad ape was from the circus. He was exposed to ALZ through human carriers.
I think it is almost certain that all apes across the world have been infected by the ALZ virus. The virus spread far and wide enough to threaten ALL human civilization. As the virus spread through the world, there is no doubt that it made contact with the native populations of apes in the Congo, Rowanda, Borneo and Sumatra
I find it interesting that they keep making bonobos the villains in these movies when in real life they tend to be more docile and peaceful than their chimpanzee cousins. Chimps have been observed to be far more aggressive and violent in the wild, even carrying out full scale war against other troops.
Those Bonobos are fruity so they the opps 😄😄😄😄
They uglier so they villains
The Lion King: "first time?"
I agree but my theory is that it's to imply that the aggression and brutality is nurture not nature and at some point they will flash back and explain the villains origin
POTA is a propaganda made by the chimps to slander the bonobos
I think that the apes freed from the zoo got smart from exposure to the ALZ that the enhanced apes already had in their bloodstreams.
I liked how new Planet of Apes films show that human tinkering with RNA viruses what caused Apes to evolve faster. In the 1970s Charlton Heston films made appear that Apes advanced through exposure of radiation or learned behaviors. If this were case would taken centuries not few hundred years.
Actually, it was shown that Cornelius and Zira traveled back in time to escape the destruction of the Earth by the Doomsday weapon in the second movie and Zira was pregnant with Caesar, who survived after his parents were killed. Caesar was already an evolved ape due to his parentage, so he was the one that started the apes down the evolutionary path.
Due to a virus that wiped out dogs, cats, and other human pets, the Humans took apes as pets and they were the ones who trained them for menial tasks and eventually slavery. Caesar led a revolt that freed the ape slaves and became their leader. He mated with some of the slave apes, resulting in more intelligent apes, but he also taught non evolved apes the ways of man. I don't think that I have ever seen where radiation was said to have played a part in the evolution of the apes.
Now, the way the new films portray the rise of the apes is a lot smarter and a lot neater than the time travel method, but the study of genetics was nowhere near as advanced back when the books and subsequent movies were made, so for it's time the time travel method made more sense.
what's the difference between centuries and a few hundred years then
lol....YT deleted my comment about the Planet of the friggan Apes, of all things. They really are leaning into this censorship thing.
I think you mean millenia, since centuries implies a few hundred years.
@filippos4648 I think he means a few thousand years not millennia 😅
Hey Mindq good to watch your videos again, right now I'm watching the First episode of Walking with Beasts.
The concept art is very cool
Great video of evolution of planet of the apes i miss cesar
Cesar: apes strong!
ALZ 113 also killed dogs and cats, too.
Really ? Where it is stated in the movies ?
@@dudotolivier6363 In the old Planet of the Apes films, too.
@@dudotolivier6363 For sure. You can't have a good Planet of the Apes Universe with the virus killing all dogs and cats.
Do you see any dogs and cats in any Planet of the Apes films?
@@dudotolivier6363in the original trilogy, the simian flu killed all pets like dogs, cats, etc.
@@assassinalvin6247 That was also the stated reason that people began keeping apes as pets. Humans than began training them for domestic service.
those big monkeers should ride a hippo instead of a horse ...poor animals
Hippo Hop 🦛🔊🎶
Maybe the gorillas should yeah 😂
Me gustaría verlos montando rinocerontes parecido a wakanda
Awesome
Waiting for Saesar's next generation
That is Noa.
By all taxonomic rules, Bonobos are a species of Chimpanzee since they belong to the same genus as common chimps (Pan). Also, Spear was another Bonobo besides Koba to be seen the prequal films.
Spear is a goated character
I like how real chimps are about three feet tall standing, but Caesar was on eye level with his human father in the first one. Maybe he and other apes were given more meat to make them bigger. I heard protein given too animals that don’t usually take to much of it can boost their growth.
Some chimpanzees are naturally tall, even 5-6 feet.
There's also Bili apes, or Bondo apes which exceed 6 feet and walk upright.
It could also be the virus affecting the pituitary gland in the brain making them much taller than normal.
@@zerkerlerken , true.
He was born with ALZ112 (his mom was one of the chimps with it
@@Thisisntcertified , yep
The first meditation, according to the reboot was a serum and the rest of the mutation clearly happened overtime
Can you do a video showing weakest to strongest planet of the ape characters
Bro these videos for that. Let my man preach about the lore.
Also, it's pretty obvious based on species and maturity of the characters. From weakest to strongest:
Human
Bonobo
Chimpanzee
Orangutan
Gorilla
Note that chimpanzees and bonobos are so close that individual variation within the species can produce a physically stronger bonobo or a weaker chimpanzee, but the strongest chimpanzee we see, Rocket, is definitely stronger than any bonobo.
The Apes survive 300 years later
Question: Should the new villain be one of the ceasers' descendants, or should they be a fake
He is a fake
@HTMN161 , yeah. Personally, I think Noah may be a lost decendant of ceaser, though I don't know, I haven't watched the other movies yet.
Proximus is a Bonobo so no link with Caesar
He uses the Cult of Caesar as a tool to cement his rule

I thought rocket was a bonobo!
Mutates, all of them… doesn’t matter what they call themselves
Were monkeys also affected by the simeon flu, gained human level intelligence, and the ability to speak?
No man. Just Apes.
No
No. Only non-human hominids (great apes) were affected.
Wish they did
When did you stop saying, “fam”’at the end of your presentation? 😂
What happened to
Rocket, Maulic, Nova, Caesar's son, all the the characters are new accept Ceaser's son.
nova isn’t caesar’s son, the new movie happens 300 years after war for the planet of apes. all the characters we knew are long dead. nova could be caesar’s descendant though
This must be a troll comment
But how did Bad Ape, Winter and the Zoo apes (from rise) evolved if they were never exposed to the virus?
Humans spread the Simian Flu (ALZ-113) between themselves as much as the Apes did between themselves
That's how the Zoo Apes Caesar liberated later on became intelligent and why a decade later we have cases like Winter, Bad Ape and the Donkeys
Meanwhile the ALZ-112 had no such capabilities. Caesar was born with ALZ-112 and only contracted the Simian Flu when he released it on his fellow sanctuary Apes
Bad ape said that humans get sick apes smarter i believed the sick humans who worked with apes expolsed them to the virus .
The apes from zoo (rise) maybe they are not smart like the others but they adapted live with them .
When the simian flu spread around the world and wiped out humans, apes were also infected, and that's why they evolved.
Did you miss Bad Ape?
If they do the nemesis system from shadow of war and a planet of the apes universe, that will be an amazing game
It's not a prequel it's a reboot
👍🏻😎🇺🇸
It's really nice knowing Caesar was the 1st Ape to be born intelligent😁😁 he was born understanding humans.
🦍🦍🦍🦍
kanye west in his environment
These aren't prequels
AI garbage
Bummer! Will is no longer a part of the story. No more eye candy. Thinking back, his sex appeal should have been integrated into the story. Maybe a pool party with him and some hot friends. Nobody would believe he would be interested in the Indian woman. Sorry, but not sorry for being honest.
Ringo really think he’s a prophet. He is very blasphemous, saying Christ was just a normal human, said God never used women when in the scriptures he clearly did at times. He speaks death on certain people but says prophets speak death or doom and that’s wrong. He’s what we call a hypocrite.😂And calls all modern prophets and prophetesses false even if their words come true. He makes fun of Christians but not any of the other religions and preaches the word while saying the worst cuss words lol. U can’t take him serious.😂
i made it 20 seconds, i couldnt bear the narrators indian voice
You are so rude, then just don’t listen.
Comment so unnecessary.
It's 1.30 meters because otherwise it just LITERALLY just mean 1.3 meters wich LITERALLY means 1 meter and 3 centimeters. Yeah, it's true. So either just add 1.30 meters or just add 130 centimeters. Because WHY is that a thing? Why and how does 1.3 meters mean 130 cm??? It doesn't. So yeah...
1.3m never means "1 metre and 3 centimetres"
That's not how metric scaling works
1.3 metres is in a scale, and is the same as 1.30 metres, or 1.300 metres, or 1.30000000 metres. We simply resort to two decimals for height because it's most practical.
All those mean 130 centimetres
1.3 metres = 13 decimetres = 130 centimetres
1.30 metres = 13.0 decimetres = 130 centimetres
1.300 metres = 13.00 decimetres = 130.0 centimetres
1 metre and 3 centimetres would be 1.03m, as in 103cm.
You can't just ignore the 0 in 1.03m, because that breaks the metric scaling.
