Whistle blew even before De Ligt took the shot due to which Madrid stopped playing and De Ligt had basically an open goal since The entire backline stopped. Also the game should have ended at 11 mins (9 mins added time + 2 mins added by the ref which was clearly shown due to VAR check and other stuff) meanwhile the De Ligt shot came at 13-14 min mark around 2-3 min late than the official time for the game to end.

The real robbery that no one talks about is why the second half of extra time was not played?
It wasn't the fault of the ref. The fault was from the linesman. He raised the flag, so the ref is forced to blow the whistle. Normally, the linesman waits for the attack to conclude and then raises the flag, which then gets the ref to blow the whistle. This then allows the VAR to correct the call. As he blew the whistle prior, it can also be said it somewhat paused the defense and the goal was easier to score as the defenders are no longer on high alert. So the issue starts with the linesman. The rest is just consequences of that bad call.

And if you are offside, and you did not touch the ball, but you are still part of the game, the goal will not count. Real's second goal is not offside because Joselu is behind the ball.
