- The Cleco clamp is the metalworker's best friend. Here, KITPLANES editor at large Paul Dye explains the different types of Cleco clamps used in modern aircraft construction and offers hints and tips for making your life with the Cleco so much more enjoyable.
NOTE: The illustration showing Cleco sizes incorrectly says the "gold colored" version fits 1/4-inch holes. It is actually a 3/16-inch Cleco.

Great series, Paul.
BTW: I've been loving *Kitplanes* for years; it's the last magazine that I know of to remain "old school"--no fluff, expert writers, lots of words and clear photos--something to learn from each issue (so far not shedding issues each year like every other magazine recently). I must say, I was disappointed when you gave up -in chiefdom, but am now very happy since the move has freed you up to write so many more features. Thanks for all your efforts.
Very informative, thanks 😃.
Spent 7 years on a structures crew at the airlines. Loved that job.
