Oh man I know. Such a shame there's no TPM representation for TVC. Those two are going on my list for sure next year. That Obi-Wan is laughable and needs a proper figure 🤞😎
Hasbro seems like it's asleep at the switch with TVC with their head resting on the "Mando" button.
Yeah, the Mando mania is real. I love these figures, but I definitely want to see more. To be fair I think there were other items planned but they got pushed to the side due to the Haslab issue. ✌️😎
I wasn't going to pick up the rebel pilot 4 pack, but throwing those 2 aliens in there was brilliant, and now I have no choice.
Absolutely brilliant! It made this release so much more exciting. I really want to see a Blue Squadron pack and some proper Endor Troopers and Pathfinders ✨🤘😁🤘✨
I find it interesting how different people collect differently, I would not want another Anikin as he has been done so many times through the lines, but a new set of Mandos is exciting. I think this is what makes Star Wars collecting so interesting. Something new for almost everyone. Anyway I love your channel and reviews keep up the good work.

Tvc is so mych better for cost and storage and displaying for dioramas. Alsi x wing pilots alien x wing pilots as well just awesome

While it's a shame the stream kind of got screwed over due to the delay hopefully what they offer will blow people away and make for something memorable. If anything I think this stream serves as a way for people to step back and prioritise on what people want for their collections and what makes them a satisfied collector. And the good thing is that people don't have to buy everything. You as an individual have the freedom to choose to buy what you want. If you feel you need it then go for it if you don't that's okay. Everyone is a different person and people want different things.
Some people want to build collections based on the films and some people buy specifically to build out their own fictional space diorama build filled with customs and characters and their own lore that's the joy of collecting is that's what your imagination dictates and why I miss being a part of it so much and hope someday I can go back to it.
So for some people the idea of a pilot pack is welcome because it allows them to customise and swap heads whereas with a named character especially if it's a body or head that you can only use with one character like the Tusken Chieftain or Enoch it's a bit difficult and named characters arguably are worthy of being on cards. People who buy multiples of these don't want a bunch of heads belonging to a specific character they can only use once but there also people who don't army build so it again depends on the kind of collector the individual in question is.
Ironically though they probably could have gotten away with a named character if they used this opportunity to put in either Trapper like you said or Carson although he should be carded because it's much easier to headswap a heavyset pilot body with an alien or other human then someone like Enoch who is different to other Night Troopers. I guess it's all a work in progress there's always something to learn with these things.
I think the alien head choices they used were good though because people who want to customise can use them but also they might lead to proper characters. The Mirialan is different from Barriss or Luminara and feels more like a young Venestra Rowh from the High Republic who will be in the Acolyte but she looks older in that so it won't be entirely the same.
The Duros looks very different from Cad Bane which is good they didn't just reuse him by paving over the scull cap or whatever and he looks more like the two Duros from the Cantina potentially hinting again that it's the Haslab and if it's not well you can make them regardless by using the head. He also could be used for Shriv a character from Battlefront 2 and I think that was a skin for Rebel Pilots in that game anyway so they kind of went with the model of something familiar but not something that can be just one thing.
You're not going to please everyone in the world and no matter what people do sometimes it's never enough. Not everyone loves Retro or Black Series or some don't love TVC but the one thing people love is collecting and the passion they have for it and so long as Hasbro try and respond well to that passion and try to build out collections in a meaningful way then business will continue to be had. If not then I don't know what will happen but they've survived this long so whatever lulls there may be here and there one would hope that goes away down the road and things build in a better way. It'll never be where it was years ago because times have changed. But so long as main characters continue to get released and updates that are needed are given I think that would go a long way.
It's a slow process to catch up and I don't know who's responsible for the slow response is it Hasbro themselves or Lucasfilm but hopefully by the end of this year some very good things people want will finally come. Like anything you take the good and the bad and there were some very good things recently it seems so let's Hasbro strives to lean more towards. We always want more after all.
Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Looking forward to the next video.

The 4-Pack was an awesome surprise and you already know that I am totally here for some aliens and kitbashing!! I plan to take some of the extra alien parts for different customs. It looks like the Duros re-used the Cad bane hands which is some smart thinking.
It's certainly a challenge for Hasbro to catch up in terms of updates and new releases but I think some representation for the TPM 25th would have been appropriate. A new Maul, Padme, Young Anakin, QuiGon and new Obi-Wan would have been amazing to see this year, and hopefully we will see those someday soon. ✨🤘😁🤘✨

I am so excited for the new clone wars Anakin!!!! That was my #1 seed for March madness. He really really really REALLY needs updated articulation!!! His upper body is fine, but he NEEDS rocker ankles and barbell hips!!! I will be devastated if he is a straight repack.

no shorter rotund "Piolet" for a forthcoming Carsen Teva was a big MISS for me, also no Shin and Baylan at least pipelined is a big disappointment. The Alien and female heads for the "Piolet" s was the only saving grace aswell as the hopefully "all newly tooled" Anakin.
I'm really hoping Carson gets a carded release!! We have let them know that unique and named characters aren't idea in these packs, because they are meant for multiple purchases. Carson would also require a new Pilot body, seeing as he's bigger than Luke. I'm still quite frustrated that we have not see Baylan or Shin, but the years not over yet. Fingers crossed 🤞😁😁🤞
It's shocking we're getting nothing for TPM for the anniversary when every other toyline in existence is getting TPM love. They couldn't even come up with a repaint or two? And we really need The Bad Batch.
Yeah it's so sad, and infuriating. I have a feeling they did not opt for any repacks due to our feedback about outdated articulation like swivel hips, and just how badly outdated those figures are in general. Thus why they need to invest in some proper tooling for new PT figures!

@ToysAreTheWay yeah, swivel hips are definitely a bummer these days, but I would've been happy if we got something like a 4-pack of Battle Droid repaints. Tho maybe that one needs a new mould too. It's difficult cuz we really just need so many remakes of Prequel mains and it feels like it'll never happen at this point if we can't even get one release for such a big anniversary.
Yeah that Battle Droid needs help. If Hasbro wanted to be smart for the Anniversary they should have Re-Packed the N1 from the 3D line (which was hard to get) and packed in an all new Young Annie, the previous versions are so outdated for Anikan, and I'm so jealous of the TBS release this year. I shared some concept art for this on my Instagram, but I really should share it here as well.

Hey look it's gamora in an x wing outfit yeah they really screwed us on the TVC level meanwhile it's all about the black series even though they are repaints what did we honestly get a 4 pack of x wing pilots ok that's honestly cool but everything else we got pictures of things they really did us dirty they need to stop that 4 inch 5 POA line and invest in the TVC line because it's taking money away the TVC line idk maybe it's me but something seems to be happening in the line and I hope I'm wrong I know Hasbro is having problems but I hope things get better they could have at least shown the LT. Pilot from the upcoming E-wing ty for letting us know. I just hope Hasbro isn't going to let us down

Seems like a few things got pushed to the sideline for the moment, but regardless I'm tired of no TVC representation for these anniversaries. We also need a brand new Maul, and our TPM figures are just crazy out of date. They 100% need to invest more factory and tooling budget to TVC. I hope the cheap 5poa stuff isn't keeping us back, but if so...it's gotta go!

Yeah I definitely agree with what you said I Hasbro is wasting money on those new 5POA crap now I'm not talking about the Reto but.... to be fair I'm not a fan of the Retro either it had its run when I was a kid I'm not Nostalgic when it comes to that when I was a kid hell yeah but hasbro came out with TVC and I was sold ever since just spend the money on TVC that's it great video brother keep the TVC LINE GOING!!

The reveals were such a disappointment. They might as well have cancelled their live stream as well. They really sucked today. Such an embarrassment for a toy company.
