Oh btw I just came from Walmart and Luke commander Rex Vader and the storm troopers are on the pegs and the card backs were perfect so you know what to do lol

Looks like the photo real print on the lips is slightly offset, just like the one I got. Doesn't ruin the appearance of the figure unless you're really up close, but wish they could perfect the photo real application process.

Great review! I'll definitely be picking this up to use those arms for customizing a Mockingbird figure. Leia's head can pop into a repainted Jyn body for a more practical look.

Are you going to extend the slits on the dress?

The figure is certainly an improvement on any previous Leia 👍🏻 nice review as always. On the subject of hands....am I the only person to think ball jointed wrists would work well...on at least some figures? Then you could get a bit of articulation in any direction, at least enough to mimic real world wrist movement. Just a thought 🤔

I think it looks great on display for some very specific poses or standing up. The soft goods could have made her dress “puffy” and destroy the aesthetics. Who knows if they’ll ever do one with softer materials. There are figures I’m okay with aesthetics over articulations and this is one of them. Since I never had a proper Leia figure, I’m happy with this release. Considering the history behind this specific dress in toy form, this is one heck of an accomplishment. I hold it to same level of importance as Tyranus or Revan for the line.

Leia is a fantastic figure I agree soft goods all the way and the arm fell off on mine as well trying to bend her arm but at least it pops back in great review brother Star Wars 2024!!!!!!

Still waiting on mine to show up, but WOW! This figure makes the really long wait totally worth it. I get impatient for figures I want just like everyone else, but if it means waiting for the technology to come along to actually make the figure perfect (or nearly, as I’d love to see a soft goods variant as well) then I’m fine with waiting. I prefer the swappable plastic helmets that you can just put over the figure’s head than having to swap out the entire head like here. This way sucks

Overall the figure looks great, but one thing that niggles me is the animated style belt and the cod piece, I'll be modifying mine when it arrives. I'm 100% with you on the bad batch, it's ridiculous how we've only got Hunter, I've just built a custom cx-2 clone operative using 3D printed parts from Coruscant customs on Etsy (video on my channel coming soon) and I was going to build crosshair in the same way, but the parts are a little too out of scale compared to TVC hunter...so I've ordered another hunter whose armour is mostly the same as crosshairs and I'll change out the differing parts with 3D resin parts from the kit I bought. Average at best, but still better than the older ones. Why did they remove the amo pouches from his belt?! All the new Phase I/II Clones on the new sculpt have amo pouches on the belt, and on the much anticipated Rex figure they go and remove them. WTH….🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah I just got my Rex from Game Stop 2 days ago and Leia and R2 and I got my Vader's today ( Saturday ) and they are awesome!! Ngl it looks hideous in my opinion. The disconnected crotch plate and inconsistent mix of live action and cartoon accessories ruin it for me. They could've based this figure off of his Ahsoka tv show appearance.

I just got mine nd im disappointed in how short he is. Vader needs to be taller than most of the other 3.75 in figures to be in scale WITH them, but he's just the same size. Also his saber is a centimeter shorter than it should be. The sculpt is amazing and posability is top notch but he needs to be taller and not carry a toothpick. Otherwise, top Vader.

I guess he supposed to have scars on his face I thought I got a bad one from Amazon. The card is bent pretty good no packing in the box 📦

If the stretch goals are😮 not met, Hasbro should just make a 3 pack of those figures. They spent on tooling so why not make them available on Pulse ?

Its not that hard to stop the neck from showing… all u need to do is put on the helmet, then shimmy the chin up while holding the helmet. After doing this, if u want to move the head around just squeeze the helmet together and release once you have moved it to preferred position.

Errors, errors, and errors…Hasbro. R7 has two red lights on the lower left of his dome. They even show that on the card art. Yet Hasbro paints them blue. R7 is also supposed to have a maroon/dark red color middle leg/wheel. Yet Hasbro paints it white. The 5POA R7 from years ago has the proper paint. And Cheep has a middle wheel. It’s even shown on the card art. You point out it’s missing too. I don’t understand anymore who’s running the approval process at Hasbro, but whoever’s in charge simply doesn’t care one bit about accuracy. Just about every figure that comes out now has some kind of paint error or sculpt design flaw. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Thanks for the information. Given that it is such a high end item, all the Alcove Outer Walls should be textured/weathered. Dioramas extending to outside of the cantina would look better, using the textured/weathered walls. Not just the entrance. This added texturing would be good to see at the back of the curved archways either side of the bar as well. Extends the ability to set up dioramas inside the StoreRoom. They are modular, so both sides should be textured.

I bought the deluxe one. I only bought one because it is costly like you both said. I like it and think this could get better if this gets funded. There could be details they may not had been able to add in time of the announcement. Once the box gets revealed that will be even better. This set is actually cheaper to buy than buying individual pieces made by custom 3D model pieces. Just my humble opinion. I really hope this gets funded. I'm hoping all tiers get met too!

I have no interest in characters that have already been done until we get more never-before-released patrons. Atheloe, Reegesk, Danz Borin, Yerka Mig and Rycar would probably be at the top of my list. For retools, I wouldn't mind seeing Labria, Boshek and Lak Sivrak.

They should have made the Tyderium Shuttle with Papaltine, his retinue of advisors, red guards and red carpet- plus ultra glossy Death Star floor and a dozen troopers. Stretch goals give us Vader that can kneel with the Death Star commander guy and another dozen troops. Each stretch is more troops plus a unique figure like a Death Star droid.
