Back in the 70’s I was heavy into model cars, but then they only cost $4/$5. The price tag now days are ridiculous.
nice score liking how your nascar collection getting bigger, love the tamiya military kits, funny the challenger looks like its missing the windshield too lol
Great scores Dylan made even better by the low prices. Grab them whenever you can they are getting harder and harder to find.
Hi, I used to build 2-3hundred of them during the 70s-80s, then when I got out of the navy, my brother and I smashed them all with fireworks. It was fun while it lasted, but now I'm back into building them with my sons. No more smashing them. Wish I had all the cool ones from the 70s-80s again.😂
Nice scores. That Challenger art box ‘mistake’ will be from AMT insisting it was built with the roof not glued in place, since the kit builds as a coupe or convertible they’ll have wanted to photograph it both ways for the box art - even if they didn’t ever use those photos. Box art models are usually built from older tooling of the kit, or occasionally early test shots, and constructed without glass to make them easier to photograph under spotlights. Windows are then put in digitally after. Box art builders sometimes only get a few days or a week to get the kit built and returned.
That Tamiya M16 will build up into a completely respectable replica of the real vehicle. To this day Tamiya is known in the armor modeling world as the leader as far as ease of build and great engineering. Get that one up on your bench and build it, you will have a lot of fun with it.
wow .. nice haul. The Trans Am is a cool kit, that is the old 1/24 kit - the current one is a different tool, and 1/25. The One you have is neat because it has lots of tires, you get stock tires, rear slicks, and also two larger sized rear tires for the street version.
Love the Mk.III Supra
Yeah me too!!
Cool kits at great prices. Nice score Dylan.
Looks like the guys hooked you up 👍
The halftrack is a M3 variant, the M16 with the M45 Quadmount. The Quadmount is powered and has it's own engine and generator
The Tamiya kit dates to the early 70's or late 60's. It builds up well but it is a little under-detailed by today's standards. I'm sure that there are aftermarket PE sets for both the base vehicle and the Quadmount
Awesome info thank you so much for that!!
Awesome stash adts Dylan! At the very least you have a lot of spare parts, but my opinion you purchased a lot of cool kits! 😎👍
Yeah absolutely thank you so much I appreciate it!
Cool stash adds bud! If im not mistaken that challenger is a vinal top or convertible but yeah the art does show the gap great eye on your part. Thanks for sharing
Thank you! 7 a convertible. Just caught my eye. I thought it was cool!
Very nice stash adds. You got a lot of bargains. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Ohhh yeah!
Awesome score.
Thanks for sharing 😊
Nice haul for sweet money. The lamboo murcielago is a nice kit. Need some engraving but it builds like a dream . And that challenger i have ordered 1 last week. Has another color on the box but it looks the same. Bought that one.Thecrevell Corvette pace car and a 69 Camaro for $55,- cannot complain about that either. Have a nice weekend all
Yeah, the Lamborghini is pretty awesome! Yeah, there are tons of the charger kits out there of that same kit! Should be a good build!
Awesome haul, Dylan! The roof on the challenger is hilarious! I've heard they're a pain to glue on too
Great stash adds Dylan.
Awesome kits. You can get some Wheaties decals for the Earnhardt car. Thanks for sharing
Thank you! Yes, god, old Mike's details
Brother if you don't want to that's fine But are you willing to part with the 90 Chevy stepside I'm in love with the OBS body style of Chevy's. And that kit is really ridiculously priced online and I've been trying to find one for a little while. If you don't want to get rid of it that's fine but thought I would ask
No, I'm going to keep it. I have a really cool plan for it. And since it was given to me, it's actually special!
@NYSMODELING I get it im the same way when models are gifted to me I would ask though Keep up the good work on the Builds brother
Cool stash adds Dylan
Thank you!
Nice haul have fun 🙂
Thank you!
sweet haul!!
The half track is around 1943 W.W. 11 to 1952 in the Korean War. Mike
Great adds…. Build on 👍
Thank you!
Lots of cool models!
Yeah! Thank you
Nice bargain shopping. So many cool kits.
Cool kits Dylan
Thanks Tom!
Great stash.
That amt dodge challenger is the best one
The c1500 step side for free. Oh yeah
Oh yeah! Can't complain with that!
I think thats gloss black paint (not an art box error) ... ??
No, it's a convertible kit, so yeah, it's a gap. You can see the chrome trim on the side it stops as well
Bro u got classices..
that AMT 55 Chevy kit is awful. Good luck that one
It’s really not, once you know what you need to alter for a perfect fit.
@@CycolacFan i trashed mine. The revell kit is far superior
@@grooveholmes79 they both have good and bad aspects, I like the AMT kit for the steering and that it’s easier to customise, having grooves for the side trim on the Revell kit makes it a pain to build without trim, but in some cases the parts fit is better, particularly the taillights. The metal axles in the Revell kit are crap though, but having two sets of suspension is a bonus. So there’s good and bad, but neither is awful.
World war 2 so 1940-45 era half track
Thoughtful 1940s thank you for that!
