I sat watching the start of this race and couldn't help but realize, how much confidence you have to have in your driving, the driving from the guys around you, and also a little praying, when you can't see a Damn thing out of your windshield. I really enjoyed this one. Nice job!👍

LOL if there was ever a cursed race, it was this one. What a wild ride! I've had my VR headset stutter and freeze on me in a race before, i can tell you nothing is scarier than that!

Great content once again and apologies for the long rant coming next haha: I am having some issues with the SR. I have had two instances where in the dry (gt3 20min) I had an SR -0,18 and -0,11 for 5 incidents which is fair enough. Now in the wet for a 40 min race I finished 2nd three times with zero, one and two incident points gaining only 0.09 (0 and 2 IN) and 0.12 (1 IN). I think if you drive clean in the rain it should be weight different.

Some screens turn off if they sense a static electric charge to protect the components. If you have anything nerby that might build a charge over time.

Fun race! I’ve had my screen go off like that (at Laguna Seca - it didn’t end well). I think it was something to do with Freesync.
is it a coincidence that months after the video about what is the best way to serve a slow down Dave forgets how to drive & gets two of them? I think not, how the mighty have fallen!

What screen is Dave currently using, is he back on a tv? I’ve had my speaker turn off mid race, not quite as bad but amazing how much you rely on the sound for shifting

ive tried doing some testing in the rain at Monza in the Ferrari, but i just cannot figure it out... its a shame but im not willing to risk SR/iRating at the moment...

i think its raining too much in iracing. they should connectit with real weather data. so like today in monza its 21 degrees and sunny.
I think this week is very much a test with every session being wet

How do you watch back the incidents?
By default it's Ctrl numpad 1 & 3, but you can map buttons in the options 😁

Racing 30 km stages in WRC the past few months have really made the wet in iRacing pretty easy though. Give it a go Dave!

42:07 Sorry to see you, Dave, promoting this Duncan guy so much. Duncan’s mouth is garbage. His language is certainly worthy of protest and doesn’t belong in iRacing. You have always shown a greater maturity and sportsmanship than most; so, I’m surprised.
Duncan is a good guy that will help anyone. Races clean with respect, with very similar values to me. Yes he had an outburst but haven't we all? I know I've been guilty at times.
We've all had outbursts before. Duncan is a top bloke. This was top split, you expect better than that sort of rubbish rejoin & If you did do the rubbish rejoin because somehow you missed someone coming thru Ascari, you'd be straight on the radio apologising and owning it.
Think we all get emotional from time to time. Watched a lot of Duncan's races and I can totally understand every of his outbursts. Duncan is, like Dave, racing hard but fair and respectful. Getting his race destroyed by some brick doing moves which won't work in the next 100years or doing totally dumb rejoins and not even being man enough to apologize, can get you raging. By the way, think most of us are old enough to handle a bit of dirty trash talk.
