Umpires makina call, and when questioned they say 'I'm not sure, but I saw it (my way)'.
If an umpire overrules, the call has to be correct.
Umpires should get fined when they argue that they make the correct decission, and the video shows it was incorrect. Make the sport more fair, not less fair.

It seems that a majority of these stem from human error from questionable line calls, which COVID and the resulting automation of line calls has solved, most notably, in the US Open. I know line judges potentially lose their jobs, and that's never good, but I would be very surprised if they brought line judges back in big tournaments.

@@CL-jy4vd i disagree. Jabeur hit the shot and the then took two steps while holding her arm up challenging the ball. I donÂŽt see how she could make it clearer she was challenging the call. However from these images, i can still not tell if its in though.

that coco gauff situation was bs anyway. women players want equal pay, and yet 1) they only play best of 3 at slams, and 2) they can get on court coaching. whereas if there is interaction between male player and coach, he gets a violation. you can't have your cake and eat it. if it is equal then it equal to both sexes
