Hi maxor927,
Really glad you have enjoyed these videos and thanks for letting me know! Don't worry, I will be creating more of these A-Z Guides. A-Z Guide #11 will cover the 'Battle of the Monolith (miniquest)' and 'Behemoth Notes' MQC achievements. I'm currently working on the script for this video and will be preparing more of it when I get some free time outside of University.
Thanks again for your comment :).
Amazing guide tanks bud
Hey Egiyt,

excellent video! kudos ;)
Glad it helped :D! Thanks for watching :D
Spent hours running around doing this quest just to find out near the end that the rock wall in death plateau REAUIRES 41 AGILITY TO CLIMB! wouldve been nice to know before hand.
Edit: the treasure can be reached when doing the death plateau quest after traveling the cave you dig. Not sure if that cave is accessible after quest completion or not.
Hi @bobbycarpenter6207,
Oh it does? So sorry I missed that! I had no idea there was a Agility requirement for that. Good to know you got access after completing Death Plateau though :)!
well that sucked but i made it through thx so much for the help couldnt of done it without ya
I agree that Banking History is a bit of a nightmare to be honest 😂. Glad I could help you with it though! Are you going for the MQC? :)
tysm dude!!
No problem at all! Really glad it helped :)
thank you so much.
Hi Thomas,
I'm really glad the guide helped you. Thank you for leaving your positive feedback :D.
I was completely unaware there was confusion with this particular achievement as I'm the sort of player that if it's possible tends to chase bonus rewards immediately after completing the quest so i just used my key to find the locations without looking at any guide or even the achievement in runescape's interface. I only knew I was done when I got the achievement pop up and the key destroyed itself (which leads to some infuriating dialogue in the early part of The Light Within with Jorral who lambasts you for losing the key despite the fact it wasn't my fault I lost the key :) )
Also anyone completing this achievement post wilderness update should beware of some really nasty aggressive enemies, some that you can't even harm without having 90 or considerably higher Slayer levels that are nearby some of these sites in the wilderness. The wilderness now is way more dangerous for low level players than it was pre update.
Hi again @jatkinson85,
Yes, this achievement has certainly caused some confusion amongst the RuneScape community. I'm not even sure that my video is entirely accurate for some players. Others, it seems to work fine... My guess is that because the achievement is pretty outdated, it therefore has some problems that may change it slightly from player-to-player. Then again, I'm not sure how coding works and this may not be possible.
I remember Jorral getting annoyed, pretty funny to be honest.
Thanks for raising the Wilderness issue. Are these enemies that spawn based on your level, or are they completely random, no matter how skilled you are?
TYVM!!
No problem Alina-kz2sn,
Glad it helped you! :)
U a hero
Thanks so much for watching the guide! Great to hear that the video helped you out :D
Watching now!!
Four minutes in, and you've already covered what most don't - thank you
Great video bro. You really covered the bases bringing this antiquated achievement into 2022
Only thing I'd add is how easy it is to upload the map of where the treasures are into Microsoft paint and marking off the locations one by one there
@@aleckazamproductions8139 Hey! Thanks so much for the compliments! Glad to hear that I covered the achievement in enough detail :).
@@aleckazamproductions8139 That isn't a bad suggestion for those watching! Thanks Alec :)
Ive noticed something very interesting
In Part 2 of the activity, I started with the al kharid spot, upon arriving near its lodestone the key said its very cold despite the location being closeby
So then I did the gnomeball spot and found it as per your video
I went back to al kharid and guess what - the key said hot near the lodestone, despite it being cold previously! How??
Hi @Honeywine,
I wish I could explain what is going on with this achievement. I don’t know whether each player has it slightly different or whether the reason why we’re seeing all of these issues is that the coding is so outdated :/.
the spot doesnt work for anything place i got its always warm 100 tiles away never cold it doesnt ever get cold it always says warm its warm same temp
ikr me too
Hi Andy and An_Idiosyncratic Person,
Which spot in the video/What are you referring to exactly? Are you saying the key isn’t changing temperature, no matter where you go? Or something else?
@@TheRuneScapeLorehound yeah, so I was able to find three of them. I tried redoing each spot in different orders and for some reason all it says is “it’s warm” and I try to adjust it but it doesn’t get to the point where it’s steaming. It just keeps saying “warmer than before” then it’ll say “cold.” I tried redoing it in different orders, no luck.
@@TheRuneScapeLorehound the first spot wasnt right it was random i had to do first spot last
How very odd. Perhaps, this is a bug? Have you managed to get any further with it?
I cant find the Grand exchange one. WTF jagex?
Honestly, I swear this achievement is so buggy 🤦♂️.
I cannot for the life of me find the Rellekka location. It is driving me mad
Oh no :(! Sorry you’re struggling. Is your key definitely pointing you to the Rellekka location?
@@TheRuneScapeLorehound I must have found it at some point and forgot cos I found other locations but the achievement hasn't updated and still says 0/11
That is normal! You’ve only completed the first half of the achievement (11 Making History locations) which don’t have a counter!
You now need to complete the next 11 Meeting History locations and when you find one of those, your counter will start to update. I detail these in the video and I believe they are in the same order for every player :)! Hope that helps!
Ninguna de las llaves aparece donde deben estar.
Hi,
Thanks for commenting. What do you mean by the keys are not appearing where they should be? You have to dig at a specific spot to acquire the treasure. Even if you’re one square off, you won’t get the treasure.
@@TheRuneScapeLorehound muchas gracias, ya logré resolverlo.
@@jesusarnobiocabrerafernand6542 No problem at all! Thanks for your message :)
how can you say this guide helped? it's being read from the wiki, you can literally look at the photos on the wiki without watching you need to visit the places like 22 times each still...?
I always appreciate constructive criticism on my content, Rolo, but I have to dispute this. I write all of my scripts from scratch - Yes, I use RS Wiki as one of my sources, but a number of things in this video I discovered myself through researching and trial and error in-game.
You say “How can you say this guide helped?” Because it has over 4,000 views, over 100 likes and multiple comments from people who it has helped. I’m sorry you didn’t find it useful, but this has been used by many Gielinorians to complete this achievement.
~TheRSLorehound
The start of the first half is a b*tch, but by getting closer to the 2nd half it gets much easier
Hey @waynefmj,
This is a weird achievement. I agree though that it gets a bit easier when you get closer to the second half.
