    Thanks! I had broken a plastic sheet feeder to an older document scanner that parts are no longer available for, and this video was just what I needed, worked perfectly.

    For drawers I put little pins like reinforced across the join on all corners. Some plastics are impossible tho. You do a great job.

    My computer monitor, of all things, fell off my computer table and landed on the frontal plastic section of my black treadmill. It made a big crack with one side of the crack being much higher than the other, thus making it very noticeable. So I hammered the high side down to make it as level as I could, but still I had to sand it down to complete the job. But now the sanded area looked dull and gray, while the rest is a shiny black. So I took a white candle and used that to place drips of wax in the damaged area. I then used a hair dryer to heat up the wax enough that I could evenly distribute it with a cloth, and then moved on to polishing it. The crack and the grayness had now vanished from view. This treadmill also uses wax to reduce friction on the underside of the treadmill belt. I have been using the same candle for that as well. I just use a knife to scrape off some of the wax in tiny particles, loosen the belt to gain easy access, and then toss the wax evenly under the belt. Works like a charm. The treadmill was purchased in June of 1999, and it still works and looks as good as new. I also use a specific pair of running shoes for the treadmill. I purchased some black rubber kitchen shelf liner, cut out the 2 shapes of my left and right shoe soles, and glued these to the bottom of my shoes. The softness of this rubber significantly reduced the wear and tear of the belt, and over time it only leaves a black residue on the black belt, and so the belt shows no signs of being a slightly lighter color in those two areas were the feet have been planted for over the 23+ years of use. LOL

  • @sergeyelektrinov2328
    @sergeyelektrinov2328 Před 5 lety +8

    С начала надо сделать горячей иглой отверстия вдоль сломал. Потом сшить тонкой медной проводкой. И уже потом таким методом спаять. А так это быстро отломется в том же месте.

    • @Freeracer83
      @Freeracer83 Před 5 lety

      Просверлить 1-2 мм сверлом, не?

    • @sergeyelektrinov2328
      @sergeyelektrinov2328 Před 5 lety +2

      @@Freeracer83 можно, но хуже получается. При проплавлении края отверстий скругленые и немного утолщены. При сшивании можно стягивать с усилием. Если просто просверлить, то стягивать сильно нельзя. Проволка будет врезаться и может лопнуть от отверстия к шву. К тому же не все пластики хорошо сверлятся. Некоторые даже при малых оборотах налипают на сверло так, что потом не отодрать. Но есть пластики, которые сложно проплавить, их приходиться только сверлить. В общем надо смотреть по ситуации.

      A pair of plyers, a 6" long thick piece of solid copper wire (10-12awg) Wrap a bit of wire on the pliers to hold in position. Holding piece of copper wire heat over oven burner/stove/torch. Keep in mind that most plastics begin to melt around 185F. You can figure out the rest.
