Portugal won't forget that during all these many centuries of history, full of ups and downs, England was the only nation that always stood by our side in every war against the invaders from the East and we retributed by sending our men to fight by your side in the WW1 even having no stake on that conflict. I live in South Africa and I speak Afrikaans and every year we have a very concerts with the main man Richard Cocks and it will always end with Land of hope and glory. It is fantastic.

I left Britain in 1970 to get a better life! I cannot really complain - I have seen the world. But in some ways it is sad - I really want to come home to see my aging mother - now in her nineties.
