    Here it is folks! The new revamped 8BitStereo uploads! New logos, better quality than ever before, and now with gameplay background added! Hope you all enjoy what's to come for reuploading all soundtracks and more! Starting with the first soundtrack I ever uploaded, Treasure Master! A game that puts you through the ringer and is a toughie, but thankfully it is saved by the grace of Tim Follin's excellent compositions and Stephen Ruddy's sound driver that makes it the memorable sound we all know and love!

      You should listen to all of Tim Follin's music, he was a master at chiptune manipulation, doesn't getthe credit he deserves next to guys like Nobuo Uematsu and Koji Kondo and David Wise

      I mean, I think the way it sounds (same sound engine) and the arpeggios already tell it's Follin.

    Tim Follin was ahead of his time with that last track, sounds just like keygen music, I didn't even know the nes was capable of that kind of sound.

    • @FukiMakai
      @FukiMakai Před 6 měsíci +1

      The arpeggiated chords was a thing composers started doing back in C64 given the channel limitation to make greater chords. Tim and Geoff Follin had that experience working on C64 so they applied they knowledges on NES soundtracks.
      Keygen music comes in formats as XM, a high definition multitracker format. Most of the music for keygens are influenced in C64, but not for tech limitations but for the aesthetics.

    The 70s gave birth to video game sound effects and the 80s gave birth to the video game soundtrack is gaming not great the 80s and 90s turned video games from a hobby to a work of art and now gaming is a 100 plus billion dollar industry there richer then Hollywood lol 🤣
