Here it is folks! The new revamped 8BitStereo uploads! New logos, better quality than ever before, and now with gameplay background added! Hope you all enjoy what's to come for reuploading all soundtracks and more! Starting with the first soundtrack I ever uploaded, Treasure Master! A game that puts you through the ringer and is a toughie, but thankfully it is saved by the grace of Tim Follin's excellent compositions and Stephen Ruddy's sound driver that makes it the memorable sound we all know and love!
You glorious person, you.
Thank you for posting this been looking for this longtime same as the old game called Balloons for snes I think think nes and also gameboy lol
Please add Rockman No Constancy so we can finally download it !
Stereo sound effects when? :P
Oh shit, you're back!
It doesn’t matter who you are, you can NEVER be as 90’s as the kid in Treasure Master.
Skooter is the character's name.
I’m blown away at how good the music really was, it’s so good
You should listen to all of Tim Follin's music, he was a master at chiptune manipulation, doesn't getthe credit he deserves next to guys like Nobuo Uematsu and Koji Kondo and David Wise
Tim Follin's 1991 album "The Treasure Hunt"
0:00 The Journey Begins
4:24 Pac-Man Land
9:15 Jeep Ride to Wacky Land
13:34 Welcome to Wacky Land
19:09 Solstice and a Half (Adventures in the Forest)
24:07 I Love Circus
27:27 And now the Adventure's Complete
19:09 is when I realized that this was the same NES composer that did Solstice. Similar vibe.
I mean, I think the way it sounds (same sound engine) and the arpeggios already tell it's Follin.
I could tell by the "instruments" that he used just a few seconds into the title theme. Is that a good or bad thing?
Those were the times!
Niko’s back! Tell a friend!
Loving the new sound and the graphics on the right hand side of the screen. That gameplay footage behind your logo is a nice touch!
That box art is so retro, lol. It's great, along with the music!
You guys notice the first theme was first based on the 2nd season intro theme of starsky and hutch. The song title I believe is called "gotcha"
Follin's always rockin' it! 🔥❤🔥
Tim Follin was ahead of his time with that last track, sounds just like keygen music, I didn't even know the nes was capable of that kind of sound.
The arpeggiated chords was a thing composers started doing back in C64 given the channel limitation to make greater chords. Tim and Geoff Follin had that experience working on C64 so they applied they knowledges on NES soundtracks.
Keygen music comes in formats as XM, a high definition multitracker format. Most of the music for keygens are influenced in C64, but not for tech limitations but for the aesthetics.
My man! The funkiest tunes on the Nes in glorious stereo, but even better! Dope.
SOUNDS GREAT! 🔥❤🔥
Great job! It sounds sharp and the stereo effect gives it a nice depth
Definitely the best iteration, personally satisfied with it along with everything with the videos that have been updated! :D
So happy you're back
DuckTales' Moon theme is awesome but...
Treasure Master's Moon theme is much better.
Awesome, really looking forward to the new uploads!
Yes!!!! Sounds great!
Look at that totally bodacious and rad cover. Ah, the 90's!
Looking and sounding great! 😁 Having the video in the background is a nice touch, and the colorful 8-bit stereo logo is sweet. 👍👍
Play the music, skip the game lol glad this vid lets me do this
Great!
Tim Follin!
WOO!!
Looking forward to the rest of the new era homie
Same, ready to be doing what I should have done a long time ago! :)
Nice new logo!😄🤩😎👌
Almost 10 years old this was by the way the very first video, though in this version without the echo effect, like you're in the club!!!!
Wow, this music is very new-school chiptune. Reminds me of Silver Surfer.
Made by the same guy!
I just realized that your new avatar looks like the no nonsense older brother of WiiGuy, complete with the infamous Power Glove to assert his authority. 😋
Yeah he was a dork that didn't know how to make the best sound possible, now I've come through to take over! ;P
@@Nikos8BitStereo Not as pretty though, alas.
That cover art is so undeniably 90's, it's almost too 90's.
Time to lace up those Radium Plated 🥾 s and kick some butt.
The AVGN would definitely approve of this, methinks. 😆
@@Jolis_Parsec I'd hope.
I like the redesign but your old wiiguy style has been around for a long time, I'm gonna miss it
Yup, 9 years is a long time to be used to something for so long, but hey, the old boi will be there to represent the old era, as we move forward into the new era with a new look! :)
I really appreciate the new sound. The new design is nice, more colorful than before.
Do you think this time we could have this in FLAC format?
Why so format-specific? In my experience, flac does not play well with others.
@@drgribb Because of the sound quality. MP3 is a very old format and although it can be reproduced by every audio player, it's quality is low compared to FLAC.
Tim Follin made the absolute best soundtracks for the absolute worst games.
Idunno, I really liked Crash Dummies and Wolverine, to name a couple off the top of my head.
Try telling that to Plok.
based
There isn’t as much reverb as the old one had.
The 70s gave birth to video game sound effects and the 80s gave birth to the video game soundtrack is gaming not great the 80s and 90s turned video games from a hobby to a work of art and now gaming is a 100 plus billion dollar industry there richer then Hollywood lol 🤣
