Really good video Dale. The stand out was your Pretty Things records and that absolutely brilliant book/cds/10” of the Final Bow. What a superb signed bookset, and you were there! Brilliant. Mike

Sorry for delay in replying Mike! So glad I went to that last Pretties gig. I had tickets for me and the wife but my wife couldn't make it. I was tempted not to bother but so happy that I did...

Hi Dale, some awesome underrated artists there. As I have said to you before I really love Nancy and Lee. Sounds like I need to get more of their solo stuff from the numbers you were saying! Same with Tony Joe White I only have 3 or 4 of his, but that album you showed ‘Black and White’ is phenomenal, and in particular the song ‘Willie and Laura Mae Jones’ is a magnificent piece of work. Have a good week cheers

Sorry very late getting back on this. The stuff Nancy & Lee did together is probably their high-point but there is definitely some great material that they did solo. TJW's first six or so albums are very strong...cheers Dale

Hi Dale, i was UK born mate (bedfordshire), am still an england cricket fan sadly :(
OMG, Nancy, oh yes, great choice mate, she is a decent singer who lives in the shadow of her father sadly.
and to follow her up with Lee Hazelwood makes sense also mate, love that box set you showed...
Dr John, another cool artist Dale, i only own a double cd compilation.
i have a Pretty Things LP in a box somewhere, love that "final bow" box set, looks really cool!
tony joe White, i own nothing but i know i should.
good luck in the competition Dale and thanks for playing along with it - Lloyd

Good showings Dale. Don't know if you know Tommy Burton on the VC (Tommy's Musical Adventures) but some years ago now I have a feeling he did a two-part deep dive on the Lee Hazlewood catalogue and showed pretty much everything. I would probably have shown Dr John in my entry but now I probably won't. You've done well to collect 14 albums by him, I only have four or five. How about a Dr John video then?

Sorry for delay in replying James! I'll have to try and find the Lee Hazlewood deep-dive videos. Ooh Dr John is a tricky one to do a video on I think, hmmm...

Great entry Dale. I have the Sinatra Hazlewood album, but no others. I see their albums once in awhile, but always in terrible shape. Dr. John records are also hard to find, always priced high. I do have around six Pretty Things albums, definitely overlooked. No Tony Joe White yet, but he’s on my list. Cheers.

Sorry for delay in replying Jack! Any of the first six Tony Joe White albums are worth grabbing if you see them....cheers Dale

That Hollies reissue looks lovely. 👌 Didn't think Nancy Sinatra had made so many albums.
Totally agree with you the Pretty Things should have been bigger.

Sorry for delay in replying John! Yes Nancy has made plenty of albums, although not all are great as there's quite a bit of filler on some, as was the trend in the 60s...

I have exactly one LP from one of the artists you mentioned, that being Dr. John. I would pick up the Nancy Sinatra you mentioned if I ever saw it in good shape.

Sorry for delay in replying! Boots is certainly one of the Nancy Sinatra albums to own if you see a nice copy Brian. I've just got her latest comp of B sides and rarities on CD and need to work through that

You picked some good ones. I think I have shown Nancy and I did show Lee Hazelwood with Ann Margret. I really need to get some Pretty Things and I have loved a lot of Tony Jo White songs performed by others but I have never picked up any albums by him.

Hi Randy, I'd definitely recommend early Tony Joe White albums. Pretty Things had quite a varied career and their style did jump around a bit. Lots of great stuff to explore though...
