Most if not all of this is not historically accurate For exemple : Egyptian was treated badly in their own land ruled by her as a total stranger like she wants their good...(she didn't care less or more ) She was strong and smart indeed but you know they would write good about their Queen(her minions) She was an absolute w h o r e. She didn't marry Julius she slept with him so he can help her take the throne from her brother and then married him to garntee position then after his fall she did the same thing with another king(forget his name)and then her brother came at her and she tried to take his good side by doing the same thing to him(marrying a sibling that time wasn't a bad thing because it was done in royal families to keep the royal blood pure)but he killed her Her history was a discraise. She was Soo helpless not only as a lone woman but as a ruler of the greatest legacies
No offense some of the things you’re saying isn’t historically accurate neither. Not only that it is filled with double standards and some of it might come from historical bias. First off why are you calling cleopatra a whore when men in power have done the same as her and no one calls them out on it? Julius Cesar for example slept around. And Cleopatra was already married to her brother because it was their custom. It had nothing to do with her trying to get into his good side. Julius Cesar was already angry at her brother because he killed Pompey. Marc Anthony wasn’t a king. He formed a Second Triumvirate with Marcus Aemilius Lepidus and Octavian. Keep in mind Marc Anthony was married to Octavian’ s sister and he mad that Marc Anthony ditched his sister for cleopatra. As a saying goes history is written by the victors and most of the terrible stuff written of cleopatra was said by Octavian. Cleopatra was a great Queen. She was the only person in her family to speak Egyptian. But she was also human and she was complicated. A lot of historical figures are. Not everything is black and white.
@@moondivine2288 i agree with you but as a person who heard Egyptians ppl ...they always tell us that she wasn't the best figure to be proud of as a Queen...her ppl in that time was oppressed...she wasn't that good either ...and yes she did took advantage of her (thing)to get around punishment bc as a lonely woman she was afraid and powerless...with no one on her side she did pay her dignity for her life ...which isn't honorable...
@@onceinadream4999 keep in mind Cleopatra’s family wasn’t exactly good neither. Most of them didn’t rule Egypt well. And I don’t think it would be fair to just blame cleopatra because she was the only famous one. Also keep in mind the punishments Ancient Rome would hand out. octavian was planning to humiliate cleopatra and she refused to give him that pleasure. I don’t think there are exactly good rules in those time. It is with mixed or terrible
@@moondivine2288 i talked about Cleo personally not about the whole family...her as a person ...i can say the same things if i talked about her father or mother or brother But Cleo is the subject bc of all the talk she gets ... especially after the Netflix "not so accurate" (documentary?)so yea
@@onceinadream4999 Cleopatra’s family did have an impact on Cleopatra’s reign. Their bad decisions didn’t just go away. Like I said Cleopatra did care about Egypt as she was the only one to know the Egyptian language. But I don’t think she’s an amazing “girl boss” person that this video and the recent Cleopatra “documentary” try to make her out to be. She’s a human who’s also done mistakes and some terrible actions. In her case I don’t think the good outweighs the bad though I know its something that depends on the person.
Fun fact (besides the one about Cleopatra not being Egyptian..everyone knows that): Multiple people who met Cleo and wrote about it say she was not very pretty. In fact, she looked a bit masculine (go look at some coins with her face, hooked nose and all). Historians think she probably tried to make herself look even more masculine as a way to get people to respect her and not question her authority. The thing people were attracted to was her charm, not her beauty. Sounds like she was the life of the party!
It feels so great to learn more closely about great, credible and real people through videos. I really hope that one day,MSA could do other royal dynasty member's story too like Qing dynasty from China or the Queen Marie Antoinette or Ottoman dynasty. That would be fun!

they even forgot to remove MSA's watermark
"Hey,say hello to my armies was so epiccc
Except it was the other way around , the conflict between rome with octavian against egypt with mark anthony and cleopatra was a one sided ass whooping for rome that is the reason why rome became an empire
I love ancient Egypt I'm learning about it it is so interesting 😊😊
You guys never dissapoint us! I love you!

@JustARavenclaw bruh the msa channel didn't even post this. But i did see a new video on msa yesterday that has been deleted after 3 hours. So I believe they wanted to post it here
A women that proven people that she could rule even all by herself and has a true heart of kindness that is made her more like a godest
Indeed, the Romans just couldn’t accept the idea of a woman in power since Rome was a deeply patriarchal society.
I have been following you
I'm from Egypt, and I think it's really underrated, people should know about it at least a bit more..
Most if not all of this is not historically accurate
For exemple : Egyptian was treated badly in their own land ruled by her as a total stranger like she wants their good...(she didn't care less or more )
She was strong and smart indeed but you know they would write good about their Queen(her minions)
She was an absolute w h o r e. She didn't marry Julius she slept with him so he can help her take the throne from her brother and then married him to garntee position then after his fall she did the same thing with another king(forget his name)and then her brother came at her and she tried to take his good side by doing the same thing to him(marrying a sibling that time wasn't a bad thing because it was done in royal families to keep the royal blood pure)but he killed her
Her history was a discraise.
@@moondivine2288 i talked about Cleo personally not about the whole family...her as a person ...i can say the same things if i talked about her father or mother or brother
But Cleo is the subject bc of all the talk she gets ... especially after the Netflix "not so accurate" (documentary?)so yea
If all history lessons where like this i would pass all my history exams in no time
Fun fact (besides the one about Cleopatra not being Egyptian..everyone knows that): Multiple people who met Cleo and wrote about it say she was not very pretty.
I loves this, so educational ❤❤❤❤❤
Cleopatra was the greatest queen ever ❤
It feels so great to learn more closely about great, credible and real people through videos. I really hope that one day,MSA could do other royal dynasty member's story too like Qing dynasty from China or the Queen Marie Antoinette or Ottoman dynasty. That would be fun!
Oh and don't forget about the Joseon Dynasty.
@@silvercrystalrose28 true,we need that too!!
Bro do you not see this is Emma say this video was just recorded😊
@@natalie5458 So sorry but I don't quite understand what you're saying, can you explain?
Sorry, but this video is not credible at all. They changed a lot in this story, like cleo married her brothers, not julius. Thats a big part.
