As a Chinese, I am very glad that you are willing to try Chinese traditional clothing. Just to point out some facts that may lead to errors in understanding.
First, Fuzimiao was built only in the Song Dynasty (1034 AD), not as old as the Han Dynasty (202 BC to 220 AD).
Second, the "Han" in Hanfu comes directly from Han ethnic rather than Han dynasty. and the "Han" in Han ethnic eventually comes from the Han Dynasty. I mean, Han Chinese’s traditional clothing in every dynasty can be considered Hanfu, not just the Han Dynasty. (Of course, what Fel wears in the video is a typical one from the Qin Dynasty/Han Dynasty)
Third, Zhongshan suits, Tang suits, and Qipao are not entirely traditional Chinese costumes. These three kinds of costumes appeared later than the late Qing Dynasty, that is, after 1900, and most of them were modified on the basis of Qing Dynasty costumes and Western costumes. (Yes, the "Tang" in "Tang suits" comes from the self-proclaimed "Tang Ren(Tang people)" of overseas Chinese at that time, and the clothing itself has nothing to do with the Tang Dynasty. btw the two ladies in traditional dress posing with Fel are wearing typical Hanfu from the Tang Dynasty.)
Some of the comments mentioned the unkindness of the Chinese people interacting with Fel, and I found no unkindness in the video. hope you don't be too judgmental if you can only understand English subtitles.❤best wishes

In general, Chinese people are sincere and honest. If they don't like you, most of them are not afraid to let it show. I never felt unsafe when I was in China. What you deem as "unfriendly" to me is just cultural difference. Every culture has different perception and degree of "friendliness". For example, Germans are easily misunderstood as unfriendly because they don't smile at people they're not familiar with; but actually, they just can't be bothered with superficial friendliness. Different culture, different perspective. Just learn to be more understanding and accepting. There's no universal standard, especially your own.

Just want to correct what "Hanfu" is, it's actually a general term for what Han ethnic group dressed before across different dynasties, the dress looks quite different in different dynasty. The one Fel is dressing looks like Qin dynasty style.

After watching a thousand videos about daily life in China, I have an impression that the typical modern Chinese guy is wearing a t-shirt that says "NEW YORK" or NYC on it, maybe the name of a band in English.
