I bought them from different sites (because money issues) so I'm just waiting on the game now. But Animal Crossing is a great game to de-stress and relax to 😄!
It usually only means that they're home, they don't necessarily have a recipe for you... they will always give you a recipe when you catcg them crafting though so it's still good to visit them 😃
actually it’s not true!! if there’s smoke coming out it just means there home, so I find it helpful if I’m coming up from behind and can’t see if there’s lights from the window!

I also haven't played that long, so I don't really have much interesting stuff to place around yet. The good thing about this game though, is that there's really no rush
another tip if i may: don’t feel like you have to have a perfect island like everyone else right now! people are really binging the game. i had my nl town for years and i barely figured out my theme. take your time that’s what i’m trying to do because i would cry if i got bored of this game or stressed.

heyo i saw you wanted some gold roses! here’s how to get them: put two red roses diagonal from each other (or next to each other if you’re just using two) and water them. the next day some black rose buds should pop up. then you have you acquire the gold watering can 🤩, you can get it by having a five start town and crafting it with gold or take one from a friend who does have a five star town. then you can water a just a single black rose with the golden can and there’s a chance of getting a golden rose!! hope this helps 😚
strawberryunho is the golden can thing legit? Because I’ve seen nothing about actual buffs for the golden tools besides lasting the longest (yet still breaking)

I'm not sure if you've already found out but I'll put this here anyway in case anyone else is curious. To make gold roses you first need to make black roses. Black roses are made by red + red. Once you have black you need to use the golden watering can on them. To get the golden watering can you need to have a 5 star island rating~ hope this helps anyone

A confession: I still haven't even finished my New Leaf village, let alone my New Horizons Island. Please don't feel bad for being behind, as the joy and purpose of Animal Crossing is that you set the pace! I planted 99,000 bells in one of my glowing spots and I got 297,000 bells from one tree, so I recommend when you can go plant 99,000 in one tree, and then once it grows, you can use one of the 99,000 Bell bags to replant another one ! Then you will have a co start flow of money !! ( that is if you keep up and plant one every day !! )

A little tip I read about growing money trees, if Isabelle mentions something about feeling lucky in her daily announcements, bury 30,000 bells to grow a tree with 90,000. I haven't tried this yet but I am hopeful!

gold roses come from black roses, which you can get by putting red roses in a diagonal pattern. water the black roses with the gold watering can (get it from your friends or make one by getting the recipe after you get a 5 star rated island), and you may have gold blooms next to the black ones! good luck (:
btw, tip for getting villagers out! non time travel: fences. FENCES FENCES FENCES. when the character is sleeping, grab some fences and make a small area and close in the door so they cant get out. dont talk to them, hit them with a net, just completely ignore it. after 15 days, talk to them when theyre in the THOUGHT pose. the purple haze one will break your 15 day streak. time travel: talk to all your villagers you want to keep, and then skip 15 days sorry its long, but hopefully it helps!

I have a beach town / board walk theme going, and the main path is like, a road with a side walk and Tom's of cross walks. There's parking spaces infront of imporfsnf buildings, park area inbetween certain roads and vending machines and park benches along the side walk. The board walk area is like a theme park with stands and prizes and brake tapper as a game, as well as the clothing store. I took a few tips from this vid, so thanks!!
gold flowers! you’ll need 2 red roses to start, i like to put them off in a corner of my island and just them they go wild, watering every day!!!! that’s so important. they will only crossbreed if you water them, after so much time you should eventually get black roses, you’ll need 2! put those 2 somewhere else and water them every single day for the crossbred gold ROSES
To get Gold flowers (at least from my exp with old ac games): get a black flower (a bunchhhh of red flowers next to each other), wait till it dies (do not water, leave it alone, it’ll turn a greyish color) and then water it
Tip for the money tree: I've heard from multiple sources that you can only bury 10,000 bells in a money tree hole. I've buried 99,000 bells two separate times and each time it triples the 99,000. So pro tip: THE MORE THE MERRIER

You can grow golden flowers once you get the golden watering can! You get the golden watering can once you have a 5 star island and keep it like that for 15 days. Once you get the watering can you can use it to water black roses and the next day there is a chance a golden rose spawns! You get black roses by putting red roses together.

To make a gold rose u need 2 black roses to make black breed 2 red Roses. When u get a 5 star island Isabelle will give u gold water can. With that u water ur 2 black roses with ur gold water can and in a few days it will become GOLD
What I like about this game is that you can simply just make your island at your own pace my island is 4 stars and I’ve been playing since it came out. And the custom design shirts. That’s what got me into it because I can now wear the joker coat from persona 5 because I’m a joker main in super smash bros ultimate.

gold roses come from black roses, which you can get by putting red roses in a diagonal pattern. water the black roses with the gold watering can (get it from your friends or make one by getting the recipe after you get a 5 star rated island), and you may have gold blooms next to the black ones! good luck (:

non time travel: fences. FENCES FENCES FENCES. when the character is sleeping, grab some fences and make a small area and close in the door so they cant get out. dont talk to them, hit them with a net, just completely ignore it. after 15 days, talk to them when theyre in the THOUGHT pose. the purple haze one will break your 15 day streak.
time travel: talk to all your villagers you want to keep, and then skip 15 days

Omfg every video I see, everyone has the cutest, most adorable villagers and then I look at mine... and start crying.
I have a beach town / board walk theme going, and the main path is like, a road with a side walk and Tom's of cross walks. There's parking spaces infront of imporfsnf buildings, park area inbetween certain roads and vending machines and park benches along the side walk. The board walk area is like a theme park with stands and prizes and brake tapper as a game, as well as the clothing store. I took a few tips from this vid, so thanks!!

you’ll need 2 red roses to start, i like to put them off in a corner of my island and just them they go wild, watering every day!!!! that’s so important. they will only crossbreed if you water them, after so much time you should eventually get black roses, you’ll need 2! put those 2 somewhere else and water them every single day for the crossbred gold ROSES
To get Gold flowers (at least from my exp with old ac games): get a black flower (a bunchhhh of red flowers next to each other), wait till it dies (do not water, leave it alone, it’ll turn a greyish color) and then water it

Tip for the money tree: I've heard from multiple sources that you can only bury 10,000 bells in a money tree hole. I've buried 99,000 bells two separate times and each time it triples the 99,000. So pro tip: THE MORE THE MERRIER

My sister and I share an Island, and I had to do all the work like paths, moving houses which was a pain in the butt. But we got the island we wanted so we’re happy with the result :)
The sad thing is that you need the online membership to scan QR codes and since I can't have nintendo online (i forgot my username and my password well) i wont be able to put designs on my islamd :(

You can grow golden flowers once you get the golden watering can! You get the golden watering can once you have a 5 star island and keep it like that for 15 days. Once you get the watering can you can use it to water black roses and the next day there is a chance a golden rose spawns! You get black roses by putting red roses together.

To make a gold rose u need 2 black roses to make black breed 2 red Roses. When u get a 5 star island Isabelle will give u gold water can. With that u water ur 2 black roses with ur gold water can and in a few days it will become GOLD
What I like about this game is that you can simply just make your island at your own pace my island is 4 stars and I’ve been playing since it came out. And the custom design shirts. That’s what got me into it because I can now wear the joker coat from persona 5 because I’m a joker main in super smash bros ultimate.

I’m pretty sure to make gold roses you have to breed two black roses and use the gold watering can 💕
if you’re wondering how to get gold roses this is how, first you need to get black roses and then you water the black roses with a golden watering can and then the next day you’ll have golden roses :^D
