I absolutely adore this! I really love the late '60s early '70s cartoons vibe and how you're able to incorporate that same feel by having your characters blend and move through the backgrounds. Beautifully done!

Oh, this is absolutely fantastic! The animation style and plot is something completely new and it all looked so yummy in like a very good way
Ok, I've already watched tons of other amazing calarts short films made by inumerous talented students but this particular film.... There is something on it that just... it catches me, its definitely my personal top #1. Idk if its the monochromatic watercolor, the composition style, the humor or narration but watching this just reinforces my wish of being a calarts student one day!!! Its a shame that USA colleges doesn't seem to be much accessible to foreigners and neither me or my family could afford the price to study and live on california.

The aesthetic of this is impeccable. I love everything. The animation and style is so unique! The storytelling, pacing, and comedy are excellent as well. I love how dialogue is only used when you need to explain something that couldn't be explained with visuals alone. You did an excellent job of silently showing the prisoners' dynamic.
Side note: I just noticed how the title card, starting from the upper left and going counter-clockwise, are symbols for each moment in the animation.

the colors and perspectives are mesmerizing, fitting the story like a puzzle piece clicking together! the style reminds me of the Thief and the Cobble with a bit of Felix Colmore's work! i'm honestly impressed with the length, a whooping 6 minutes of the rumored murderer stealing random shit (and man that ending did catch me off guard, guess the only thing really after you in the end is your own paranoia, yeesh)
