Remembering how incredibly exciting and romantic San Francisco was - especially fun purchasing Dungeness crab close to the wharf! Scoma’s Restaurant was fabulous and Ghirardelli is great scenery!
It is important for children to learn to assist in the family kitchen. Food tastes better when every one has a say in what is being served. It is a true joy to have my daughter working alongside me when I cook.
Your appreciation for local farmers and good ingredients is humbling! But about all your life philosophy is the greatest advice! What a great lesson about family and love!
I have learned from Mr jaques Peppin since I was at school. I have to say that I am a very humble cook, but I cook for myself more, and bless his lessons over the years, thank you so much for your time and effort and kindness ❤
God bless you, Jack, for all the memories and instruction. "No great chefs without great ingredients." That is it. The farmers' market makes a person so much a better cook, instead of industrial agriculture.
Gloria and I would share a meal, with a bottle of wine, sometimes two.......and have conversation. Love it. 🍷❤️
