I am someone who has lost interest in most video games over the last seven years or so, I played the first one after picking it up for ten bucks last year and was enthralled from start to finish. I sunk hours into this game like back in my Mass Effect and Fallout New Vegas days. I will literally be buying a console or new PC just for this game. that's how much KCD keeps my flame for gaming alive. Jesus Christ be praised!

I'm definitely excited to see Henry again, though I'm curious as to how they'll address him already being a max level character. For me, one of the biggest draws of the first game was starting out as a peasant that could barely hold a sword, and then ending as a warrior capable of killing just about anybody.

@@jmgonzales7701there’s so much CoD and realistic ww games that’s it’s really not a priority imo. Medieval games are usually fantasy tho and don’t tell actual history. I for one am hungrier for a rome perspective or greek or even egypt. Hell do Britain or Holy romain empire wars during the same era 1200-1500 and I am totally happy. I wish there were 100 more games like kingdom come deliverance as not only they are telling a good story but it has education/historical value as well. That’s why Assassin’s creed is still popular.

I think that is the best way to go with games, just announce it once its basically done and don't set unrealistic release goals.
Kingdom come deliverance went through a lot to get developed, It started out as a Kickstarter, the devs went all over the world to find a publisher, Now they have hundreds of devs and a bigger budget, It's great to see how much love the game has
I met them at Brasil Game Show and very few people were interested at the time.. but i got a good chunk of my friends hooked when the final DLCs were launched
I think that's part of the reason why some of us cried watching this. KCD 2 is such a victory lap, a triumphal march for Warhorse.

I started KCD only a few months ago after it collected dust in my Steam library. Big mistake! It quickly became one of my favourite games ever!
Its good to know they said the game was going to be a thrilogy when they made the first game so we can expect a Kingdom Come 3 after this one. And this one seems like its going to get huge sales, more compared to the first even so im expecting the 3rd one to be even grander. Hopefully they will make a new Kingdom Come storyline for some new historical medieval game after Kingdom come 3

As I was with my 5 yo nephew the other day who was asking me to tell him a bedtime story I couldn't come up with anything else that telling him about Henri from Skalitz, young blacksmith aspiring to become a knight and the perfidious attack of Skalitz led by Sigismund of Hungary, not forgetting to tell him about important characters such as lord Radzig Kobyla, our bro Hans, lord Hanush, Teresa and most importantly Kunesh who didn't want to give our money back !

@@chrisc4843 some of my biggest scores in that game came when it was the worst possible time to steal something. literally observe everything and find the sweet spot to steal. its like the game rewards you for having balls and being strategic. when i started. id only steal at night.. once i got good at it.. always just wandered around looking for the perfect targets. the ones that seem impossible to steal from, are usually the best rewards. that is, the ones you shouldnt hurt/kill. like those bath house ladies.. man, they caught me every time. i always wondered what they were hiding.

I really like how Henry looked like a battle tested knight now, compare to his peasant boy looks on KCD1 and Tom Mckay aged well he really look the part now.

The first game was the most immersive experience in video games I've ever had. I really truly became Henry, shit was like real life. It even had an impact on my real life and taught me that you can learn anything from scratch, you only need time and effort.

Henry's story has so much potential. He lives in a period when the Battle of Grunwald happened (The Czech also fought there, Jan Žižka among the others). Having Henry there, in one of the greatest battles of medieval Europe would be something really cool, since Martin fought in Poland as well (as sir Radzig said in the first game).
And then there are the Hussite Wars of course. I feel like it could be Kingdom Come series' ultimate goal to eventually present these times, especially since historical sir Radzig was also kinda involved with them.
Of course these are Ideas that could lead to the next games in the series. Right now I'm really happy that this game is developing so well. I cannot wait to play it!

@@rumpelpumpel7687 Henry's adopted father (the blacksmith). According to sir Radzig, he fought in a war in Poland when he was young. It would be kinda poetic (and epic) to see Henry fighting at the battle of Grunwald, where the Czech detachment fought alongside Poles and Lithuanians against the Teutonic Order, which at the time (1410) was an ally to Hungarian king Sigismund. In KCD the story ends in 1403, so only 7 years before that.

As a Czech guy, this fills me with pride. Not only this epic story is laid in my beloved region of birth which is so colourful and historically rich. But that this came from Czech studio that gave us one of the greatest RPGs I´ve ever played and they managed to do that with such a small group of people. I cannot wait to see what other adventures they gives us with Henry in this next piece. Wish them luck. Warhorse, you better not Bethesda this one :D Nobody wants to see another Starfield :D

On December of 2023 I completed my journey as Henry of Skalitz in the first game, I bid him and Hans farewell as they rode off to new adventures. I'm so enormously happy that in such a short span of time, I'll be reunited with them once more.
Jesus Christ be praised! Dude, almost same here. My journey began in December and ended in January, 125 wonderful hours over the span of three weeks!

@@Louiee89 Whoa! That's a blazing pace! For me it was different, it took me quite a while to get through the game because of various life distractions. That being said, the quest log system is fantastic for being able to get caught up on what exactly was happening last time I played. I beat the main quest, a bunch of side quests, and all DLCs in 100h40m over the course of a year and a half.
No joke. I'm in the middle of a playthrough right now and I'm a completionist by nature so I am going through the entire game for the first time and honestly It's so bugged out in some spots but the scope and vision of the first game's narrative is so well done. I have no problems at all that this is basically a full remake of the first game but it will be fully realizing the whole vision that war horse studios had originally set out to do.

I picked up the first game after watching this trailer. Its in my top 3 favorite games of all time. I am SO hyped for this game!!!!!
I had the pause the video to compose myself. KCD is the first game in like 10 years that I truly fell in love with. I bought it and all the dlc on PC, then again on Xbox when it broke my PC. Happily. Now I am gonna have to buy a new console or PC to play this. I will do so happily.
