Bienfang actually has a protective layer on one side of the sheet, which prevents the bleeding of the marker. Though it has the thickness of tracing paper, the coating on the other side will block all the ink from bleeding. Just make sure you draw on the correct side tho. I hope this was helpful :)

i have been working with alcohol markers for a while and for skins i mix many diffrent types of skintones but when i found out your channle i was really suprised on how well you do the skintone if i added those type of colors i would mess up BADLY, i hope you do a skintone tutorial in the future ❤️❤️💕

If anyone was wondering, cheaper marker paper uses a thin layer if plastic on the back to prevent bleeding, it works but it makes the peice a bit muddy and you can kinda see that with the drawing scott made, the colors just kinda sit there and kinda mix together
Good marker paper usually has a waxy kind of layer to it (similar to print paper for photography) which not only allows it to not bleed, but also helps it not dry instantly so it's easier to blend in it

They didn't have any Strathmore at an art store I went to. Decided to pick this paper up because of you, went back to where I was staying and did a few layers of giant black Sharpie over it (like the God of all bleeders) No bleeding. Haven't used it for an actual drawing yet, as I still have some of my Strathmore left. It's good to try something new, even if I'm a Strathmore lover.
I'm amazed that COPIC paper failed so epically but the Bienfang did so well. It also looks like it keeps the marks fresh longer to allow more time for blending before the ink dries. I'm definitely ordering some of this hocus pocus voodoo s**t for myself.
