    Thank you for the videos. I learned a lot while I was waiting for my S7+. I just discovered a really cool feature: You don't have to select the shape tool, just pause after writing your shape (line, circle, triangle, etc.) and it will automatically change the shape. Saves a few clicks! Good luck with Med School!

    I use essentially the same setup, for the same reason, I am a student, and LOVE Samsung Notes. I have the Galaxy Tab S6, but I would love the Tab S7+. It didn't come out until I already had mine a year. One thing I do differently is when I want to change the style, I will ise the rectangle selection tool, select what I would like to chanve, and then choose "Change Style" from the pop up menu. This allows me to change the style of the entire block at once. I will sometimes change the line thickness and colour at the same time, depending on my need. The other thing might do is convert a block of hand written nites to tyoed text. But, if I use any typed text, I ALWAYS place it in a text box for easy manipulation. I find the typed text size of 8 to be the perfect size, and easily manipulatable. Love the video though, thanks for sharing.

    Very informative video! Good work! Would like to know is easy to drag & drop a photo from the photo app or internet browser to Samsung Note when doing note taking? Tab S7+ has a big screen. Is that practical if I separate the screen to half for Samsung Note and Internet browser at the same time, then I can easily drag & drop the info from the internet browser to my note (like what iPad did)?

    Hey I just had another question about the S7+ :) How do you find the aspect ratio compared to the ipad pro? I noticed the pro has a more square shape for looking at lecture slides in full without straining your eyes or zooming in and losing context, while the S7+ is wider and more "squished" so it fits video in 16:9 MUCH better with no large black bars. Is the difference something you'd notice often? Particularly with lecture notes?

    • @HSTVoffcial
      @HSTVoffcial  Před 3 lety +1

      I was actually considering buying the ipad pro vs tab s7+ before starting uni so I saw them both on display in a shop and honestly the ipad just looked too big for me. Like it didn't seem natural to hold i my hand and my eyes found it too 'up in my face' type feeling. The tab on the other seemed much more comfortable to hold and look at, not too big and not small either. For me the simple tab s7 was too small but im glad they came out with the plus model its a great option, the middle ground I was looking for.
      Lectures are great to watch and annotate on, almost A4 sized so works really nicely!
      Hope this helps:)

    Really enjoyed the way you arranged your notes. As a beginner to the S Pen and to Samsung Notes, are you able to show how you are cutting and pasting, etc. Is this all through the S Pen or are you using keypad? Also the same when you are copying from PDF is that using the pen?

    • @HSTVoffcial
      @HSTVoffcial  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks a lot for watching! So I actually rarely use the keypad for note taking. S pen and my fingers are the main tools!
      For importing pictures etc. to my notes I either do copying and pasting, thats by holding down on something and selecting the copy/paste option. Another way is to save things in your gallery and import them in and for this i use the s pen tools menu and select the screen grab option and from there I select what I want and then save to my gallery to import.
      Hope this helps! I'll make a note to do a video on this as well:)

      I think you have to unlock the pdf first and save it as a normal one before you can open it in Samsung notes.
      Handwriting on the tab just takes a bit of practise, at first I found it a bit strange as well due to the lack of friction but have gotten used to it now. I'd say dont be afraid to rest you palm on the tab, the palm rejection is great and really makes your writing similar to on paper.

    You can export directly to pdf from your tablet. Just need to share it gives you the option either pptx or pdf, same with word. Then automatically pop-up app selection you can either choose create a note or samsung notes if you want it in a specific folder.

    Just a tip, but to convert my PowerPoints into a PDF, i will download the PowerPoint onto my tablet and then use this website (https: //www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/ppt-to-pdf.html) to convert it to PDF. Then I just put that into my Samsung notes. I feel like this way would be easier and faster than the way you're currently doing it.

      Good question, im going to be doing a video on this topic actually. This is a big controversy, yes I did go to a private school but believe me, Edinburgh is looking for well rounded students regardless of where you went to school. If anything private school students are possibly lower ranked because some believe its easier for us to get opportunities (which i think is not true). As I say, this is a big debate, ill be doing a video on this topic soon. For now I'd say dont think about private/state schools, just focus on the main aspects of your application and I wish you the best of luck:)
