@@kovid90 Don't worry your not a bother at all! I really love the note-taking on the Samsung tab, the pen is very quiet when writing on the glass due to its silicone tip, unlike the apple pencil that is plastic so its a bit louder when writing on it, plus you do get your pen included with your tab, unlike apple, you need to buy the apple pencil separate.
This was bought to replace an old Lenovo tablet which was essentially too sluggish to cope with modern websites. czcams.com/users/postUgkxz4qYZoyAOb_hq_UbaKI6AsZX0FnoFm-U This tablet is fast, has a very clear display with built in optional eye comfort shield, great sound with Dolby Atmos, split screen option and numerous tweaks that I've not yet explored. I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it
So refreshing to watch something besides an iCrap. Pro tip: buy a matte screen protector. While it's not as clear as glass, it doesn't feel like glass when you write on it. It's not paper but it does slide less than glass.

@@evanschneider47 I checked but the brand that I used Amazon ran out of stock. Just search matte screen, i'm pretty sure it all comes from the same chinese factory, just different branding.
@@skubeeraw fair enough, i’ve been seeing a lot of people worried about the wear and tear on the nibs of the S pen, with the matte screen protectors, do you have this issue too?
@@evanschneider47 now that you mentioned it, yes. but again, that's due to the fact that you glide less due to the matte surface unlike the smooth and almost frictionless glass screen protectors. It's a small trade off as nibs aren't that expensive and the fact that samsung used to give out 10 of each in their note series of phones, i have a lot. (though, samsung has gotten stingy and only gives out 1 of each now with their s pens)

Here's some quick tips..
1. You don't need the shape tool at all. All you have to do is just draw the shape but before you let go of the pen, make sure to hold it like a half of a second and then Samsung Note will automatically create the shape for you. I'm way prefer using this method cuz I find it faster than just tap the shape tool over and over again.
2. Oh while on pen mode, you can also just hold the S-Pen button to quickly change into the eraser mode. So no more moving your hand to the tool bar to change to eraser mode.
I hope these tips help you cuz its definitely helps me to focus more on studying than writing the note itself. Great Video btw :D
Is the 4gb ram variant worth? Like does that variant acts slow?
@@aadhiablink9469 for my experience, it does lag a bit.. So I have to be more mindful about the ram usage every time I use my tab.. But hey if you have the money just go for more ram 👍
@@aadhiablink9469 at this point in time definitely not , it is not future proof at all. The oldest tablet I would recommend getting is s7 plus but if you can get anything from the 8 line better.

Such a helpful video! I actually bought all the products you listed, i just didn't like that the case doesn't stick to the back magnetically if you leave it flat and I have trouble putting in the pen with the protector in the slot inside the case but other than that I love them! I finally get to take it to my classes. Loved the video :)

Yowwwww you just made me choose Samsung tab over iPad with this video. I really thought samsung is incapable with note taking but dammmnnn. I will really save up money and buy a Samsung tab in the future.
How old are u ? OFC a strong digital machine can have good apps and they are developing more as time passes by Apple just had the advantage that they started ...lol

I just bought a s7 for note taking and i’m having a hard time managing ziti the “writing zone” and how it slide when i’m at the end of it, any tips ?
I would try to reset that specific app or function, if it's a feature with in a app the I recommend resetting the app, make sure your spen is fully connected, it can disconnect sometimes! Hope this helped!

This looks really cool but I wonder: is it easier/faster/more efficient to write notes (digitally or otherwise) or type them? I normally just type notes on my laptop but plan on getting this tablet primarily for digital note taking, and it seems really convenient for that but I'm not sure if it's better overall. I also plan to use the tablet for other things ofc, but I mean for this 😊

@@kitanalogy1523 Thank you for responding! That makes sense, if it's able to comprehend our writing into text then there'd not really be any difference between them besides the colors I guess. I'm not sure how neat my writing would be on this (it's neat on paper but never wrote on a tablet before) but this is a really cool tool and I would definitely use if if I get this tablet. Whatever is more comfortable for each subject like you said, I'd agree with. Especially for something like math haha.
@@casie6609 I fing typing my notes to be way easier than writing, since I can do it very quickly and without giving it much thought. However, because I don't really need to think that much while typing, I find that retain the information better when I am writing by hand. I also like the look of handwritten notes a lot, so I'm usually very happy and excited to sit down and try to make aesthetic notes.
@@EliVaz Thank you for your response! I can see how both have their benefits. I'm gonna wait on getting a tablet, at least until the S8 comes out. I normally don't even really take notes but I know I'll need to next year when I go back to in person classes for college. I might just type them, I'll see. And the Tab is great other stuff like watching movies too, so I don't think I'd regret getting one either way. I just gotta keep thinking about it to be sure.

How do you record these videos on s7. Is it via the "screen recording" feature? And which microphone do u use and which software for giving the video a final shape ?
Probably screen records without mic then uses a proper mic to do voice over then edits the video and audio together in an app/ laptop software

Yes you can! Make sure your notes are syncing all the time!

Hello! Thank you for your support! The stylus I am using is the spen from Samsung tab s7! The stylus does come with the tablet!

Once you've made notes, are they available in Dex? Even if you didn't make the notes in Dex?
That's a good question! They only show up on Samsung notes on your phone so yes it will be on dex because the app Samsung notes is in Samsung DEX
I'll be starting University this September and I'm considering digital note-taking vs paper. Do you experience frequent eye strain or fatigue? Also, does Samsung Notes have a spell check feature like MS Word?

Thank you so much, this video was very helpful. I had a questions about samsung notes though, is it possible to crop a piece of a pdf? For example, my Calc prof like to give out worksheets and I do not like to keep going back and forward between writing and the worksheet, so is it possible to crop one question out and place it anywhere on a note page?
Of course, im glad I can help! And yes you can just take a picture of what you want and paste it on your notes or you can also just import your PDF file to Samsung notes and boom it's there!

Yes you can, if you download samsung dex on your pc you should be able to see your samsung notes!
Does the s pen with the protector enters to the s pen holder in the case?
The holder inside the case does fit the pen inside with the protector!

Hey I am thinking of getting a Samsung tablet even though I have a graphic tablet that I use to write on Onenote in my laptop. It is a bit clunky and stressful to use. I am thinking of being a Mathematics and Physics major and maybe a writing minor with photography. Should I get a tablet? How convenient is it to type in Notes?
Hey! I really do recommend a tablet, especially with a major like yours! I am taking an Engineering major and it is a lot of math and physics since there is a lot of problems and steps with math and physic problems, digital note-taking really does make you write freely, in my opinion! I only like to type out notes when courses have nothing to do with numbers or equations. So if you want to do both such as typing and writing down, I recommend a 2 in 1 laptop, spectre x360 2 in 1 is a great choice!

I am thinking on buying this tab for note making. I make Notes in One note in Laptop but since it's too bulky & not portable at all and even though its 2 in 1 with a stylus, It is really difficult to read in TFT display. But I am also thinking on making everyday notes in my hand writing directly which I can never type and arrange on Laptop. Thank you for your support! I am usually using the pen almost every day so I have read on Samsung.com that the tip will never wear out, but I am not too sure about that, I believe it's just how much you use the pen and also if you take care of it, it should last you a long time!

Have you noticed some kind of yellowish tint in the screen? Seen many people online complain about it, so I'm not sure about getting one.
I have not had any issues with the tint screen, what may cause this is either overnight charging or also they can have the eye comfort shield option on!

No, the document scan option is already included in its software, Samsung recently updated this app, so may sure you do all your updates!

Hi, I am trying to find my first tablet, but I am only want to use it for note taking. but, not just simple note taking, I just want to have the best experience.. I like to write really small , like to do much mathematics and diagrams figures etc.. but my handwriting is not one of the neatest, so I am worried if i buy an expensive tablet, will it be still ugly..or will that be more ugly on a cheaper tablet? Your hnadwriting will do it for me. But, now I hear also in Ipad you have paperlike ..which makes it feel you write on paper how is this experience with samsung S7?
Just buy paperlike screen protector if you want to have paper texture writing
But I heard it will damage your pen tip so you'll need to change it few times in a year I think?

Hello! Let me tell you that a paper-like iPad, ruins your apple pencil, I recommend using or buying the Samsung tablet, your stylus is already included in your purchase! also the pen tip is a hard silicone so it will be nice and smooth to write on!

Did you know that the pen still works without being charged. You only need the charge for the Bluetooth features.
What Bluetooth features does the pen have? I thought it was just for writing
@@casie6609 there's a lot of Bluetooth features you can do, you can control music or movies/shows and camera, control powerpoint presentations, scroll on internet browser, and do actions like going back to previous page, going back to home page, taking a screenshot with smart select, starting a quick note, quickly opening an app you want, translating a page and more

@@casie6609 no worries! and yeahh the s pen itself is so functional. it's so useful for when you're doing zoom lectures or meetings and want to quickly take a screen shot or annotate. one of the reasons i highly recommend the tab s7 😍

It doesn't work well while attaching the pdf files. Everytime the file gets attached at the top of the page and not where you wanted to. Any suggestions? Pls give some suggestions or make a video on how you attach your pdf files in between of notes. As I've been dealing with this issue since I started making digital notes.
Hello! It really does depend on what type of PDF file you are putting in, there are many different types of PDFs so make sure the one you are trying to input is legit!
Did you apply any tempered glass on your tab and does it affect your s pen writing
I did apply a screen protector but no this does not affect no spen writing, works as if I never even put a protector!🤟

@@AK-cw2so in my opinion I do feel like I write a bit smoothie since the glass protector is meant for note taking but I did not have to replace any pen tips🤟
