BEST EPISODE EVER. GORDON IS AN AMAZING STORYTELLER. Kobe coming thru late and saying "YO BALL" with his hands out got me DYING
Fuxking hilarious brudda lol
Jerry west episode was better low key legendary
I almost skipped this video - but this comment got me. My man.. you was right 🔥🔥🔥
Yes sir! These convos had me feeling like I was in the room with them. Thats how I deep I got into this podcast. Entertaining and therapeutic! @@Dat621
Same
This guy was a franchise guy before getting injured. He was taking game-winning shots and putting people on posters. He was nice. His injuries really changed him.
PS: Show Gordon's dunk on PG!!! lol
Great guest! Gordon was on his way to stardom before the injuries
For sure
Top five SF in the NBA in 2017.
Probably..but he stilllll a hell of a player though.factssss..that man got game
@@user-tm3sc2xo7p his IQ kept his career alive
Same with PG
Not gonna lie, this was prob one of the best episodes. Loved Gordon, seems like a such a nice and calmed guy, great storyteller. Keep going P
Yea for some reason I really liked this one
@@showtimelee Couldn't agree more. As they both stated, the similarities in their careers I think drove a super natural conversation. Gordon is also extremely well spoken!
He is very easy to read which made it good too lol. You could see he was trynna be as nice as possible talking about LaMelo😭😭😂😂
@@duffal0hahahaha I totally agree... I was about to say he came off super honest talking about his past teams... Except talking about Charlotte ..or what he wants his next couple years to look like..but it makes sense because he's still on that team
Gordon Hayward is such a king for spitting the truth of Kobe’s last game
FCK THE FLIPPERS
I remember watching the game, and was a little bummed that Utah played no defense to "honor" Kobe's last game. They essentially let him go off, but the crowd and stars that came out to watch the game made it super exciting. It was like the 3 peat years with Shaq feeling the crowds energy, and having Jack and company court side.
@@iLawfGamingNow go watch the game yes was plan get Kobe points but Jazz were def trying and I know he didn’t mean to throw shade but he did sounds bites are everything now
Longtime Celtics fan here (1986-present). I know that your time in Boston didn't go as anticipated, and I know you probably aren't going to read this, but I just wanted to say thank you for everything that you gave to the team, fans and city. You are, and have been, a great player and an even better person and I have always loved your game. I truly believe had you and Irving not suffered season ending injuries in 2018, we would have seen one of the greatest Finals series in NBA history. Irving-Brown-Hayward-Tatum-Horford vs. Curry-Thompson-Iguodala-Durant-Green. Oh well. Regardless, I'm happy to see you doing well with Charlotte. Keep up the good work, G.
Bro come on he gave you 5 whole minutes
@@McNetDeck I don't know what's the problem with people like you who gets irritated when other people appreciate others. 🤦
@brokejumper20 so what did he "give to the team"? It's fine to like a certain player, but acting like he did something for the celtics?
that would be crazy ngl, prime gordon haywards was like that
@@McNetDeckhe sacrificed his body for the team and gave effort, that’s all u can ever ask for, appreciate it
Utah Hayward was a monster. It’s good to still see him in the league and still playing at a good level even if he never got back to that standard
Gordon was cold back n the day
As a clippers fan I hated him. He always gave us a run for our money him Conley, Ingles,
@@chinoxSDhe never played with them, so I guess you’re just naming other Jazz players separately…?
He’s still an above average NBA player, and shows flashes of star power
@@ChidOkihe def played with Ingles lol what you talking about
Paul George will go down as one of the greatest to play the sport of basketball. My kids look up to him for everything he's done in and outside of the league. Keep killing it with Podcast P!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Tf
@@CarlosGarcia-jm8lrHe has kids that are big fans of PG. You slow?
@@clutch7548 “one of the greatest to play the sport of basketball” Are YOU slow🤡🤡
THEM KOBE STORIES HAD ME DYING 😂
like kobe
I respect the hell out of Gordon for his honesty behind Kobe’s final game
Fax!
I was just making this statement the other day and my homie tried to act like I was hating. Like 50 shots and 60 points isn’t that crazy at ALL especially when the team was hardly playing defense on him cuz they were just in awe
Video shows a different story watch any random NBA game tommorow and tell me Jazz weren’t playing better defense
@@davis2k1234 man for real I’ve heard so many people say shit like that over the years it’s just a blatant lie I’ve went back and watched that game so many time Heyward and Hood were plastering him all game they brought a double team a few times in the third they were plastering and hand checking Kobe so much in the 1st quarter that Hood actually fouled him on a 3 point shot, then for Hayward to be that disingenuous and say oh he had a good last 3 minutes is crazy when Kobe went 8/13 from the field and scored 23 points in the final 9 minutes he really sounds salty about that game for some reason 😂
Absolutely. Any player that’s decent in the league can score 35+ if they have 50 shots to take. Kobe is a legend but at this stage of the game he was a shell of himself that had a helluva night but some points were given. Yall remember him basically having a body ice pack on the bench. Again we all know he was one of the best but the last game was memorable for the respect given. Shots went in
Gordon Hayward is such great story teller . I really enjoyed this episode.
He has a future in television or podcast. Such natural.
Also, him and Paul George had a career ending leg fracture and for them to have had a long and successful career is remarkable
Two Fellas that bounced back from horrific injuries
I hope they talk about the day of, recovery and their mental
I’m tuning in fasho
Man, that 2017 Celtic squad was supposed to be a dynasty! Crazy how injuries change the trajectory of an entire franchise
Paul George is killing it. One of the best podcast out right now. And not just basketball podcast, I’m talking about out of all of them.
Have you seen Gil’s Arena podcast
@@SkepticalBrother feels like a barber shop, not nice to the ear at all
Jazz Hayward was my idol growing up. Patterned my game to his game. I like that he was a 2-way player, specially an amazing Chasedown Shot Blocker. He was a stud fr. 😤
He was one of hella player for the Jazz💯
Damn, never realized how similar Gordon and Paul are. That smooth, cool vibe they give off is even the same.
Easily the best guest, Gordon was an amazing story teller
Gordon's such a dope dude, great podcast and glad to have him on my team! 💙
As a Celtics fan, I had high hopes for Gordon and have always wondered what could have been… glad he’s happy.
hayward is one of the most humble, calm, and has a great overall character. One of my favorite players
man bro i always wanted to see you guys sit down together. i haven’t watched it yet but i know this is going to be a great interview. knowing that both of you guys are still in the league after the injuries. it’s beautiful.
Great episode guys. So easy to forget that injury that we all watched about 80 times. So gratifying to see him have a great career.
Gordon is brilliant, such a chilled personality and takes you along with him for the stories. Podcast P, the Best Sports Podcast out there!
This was the BEST. Loved this conversation. Keep it up gentlemen. I’m here for it
Thankyou EVERYONE involved in producing this
Incredible session. Thx Gordon. Thx P. Thx fam.
So happy to hear Gordon's interesting NBA stories, great guest and great episode!!
Really sucks he got injured people really forget how good he was/is and the potential he had
My favorite thing about this podcast is that PG is still such a student of the game, thanks for the great content!
Best episode so far. Was smiling through the end
One of the best epidosdes i’ve seen. Just amazing story telling and the execution by the whole team. Love the podcast P. 💯❤️
I really appreciate this episode. Great job P. Love how you're bringing on different people n not just the podcast usuals.
Every episode is better than the previous one, you all make a great job together and the guest was awesome today, thank you Gordon and thank you PODCAST P 🔥
I’m very thankful for this Podcast. One of my favorite episodes. Lov u Guys!
Y’all have great chemistry. I wanna see Gordon as a recurring guest/co-host
This is the best NBA podcast I’ve viewed. PG has an interesting way of getting the best out of his interviewees! He’s able, in a relaxed way, to lead them to reveal very interesting stories regarding very good basketball players. Bravo PG!
I’m so hype for this one!
It’s crazy that they had a hour and a half episode and didn’t even talk about gaming. Def gotta have Gordon back on in the future. It was nice hearing his stories snd outlook on the landscape of the game
Such a nice conversation, congrats Gordon, P and the boys
really enjoyed this episode. love the kobe stories.
What an awesome guy, you never know what routes of inspiration you'll come across, all love for Gordon Hayward he the man. Dope career and story.
Best pod so far, Hayward such a good story teller and all class humble guy fr
I’m recovering from ACL and meniscus surgery and them talking about their injuries hits home. I’ve been cleared to play for the last 3 months and it’s definitely a journey. Losing explosiveness as an athletic guard is disheartening for sure
Listening is such an underrated quality for interviewers. PG definitely has the talent for it.
PG + Hayward was my dream for Pacers before.
Still could happen
I did not expect this episode to be as good as it was. But Gordon is such a professional and an amazing presence behind the mic.
Never cease to amaze me how these are the only two players from the 2010 draft class that are still in the league both talented players two genuine guys love this
Excellent podcast! I felt like I was sitting with you guys! Lots of smiles, captivating storytelling
I’ve been waiting patiently for Hayward to hop on a podcast fr!!!

This my favorite episode. Something about it makes it so Wholesome and you can tell everything is 100 legit.. good shit Podcast P!
*edit. The energy in this episode can be felt. Amazing
Gordon has 12.5k points, nothing to sneeze at. Glad he's loving life in Charlotte but he would be a great addition as a 7th/8th man in Clipperland.
Gordon Hayward definitely my favorite episode. When he was at the top of his game he was one of my favorite players of all time. He’s humble and that white boy could hoop with the best of them. If he didn’t get hurt man.. what could’ve been. Very cool to hear from him on here
Best episode so far
Genuinely enjoyed every second of the podcast
Yeah this the best hoops conversation on YT
So happy to get this guy in okc!
dude this podcast is fire
Great pod! Ima need to see more Gordon interviews
This was a good one, I always liked Gordon Haywards game
This was a great episode! I love to hear stories! It was great also to hear Paul George say that the Clippers team is willing to sacrifice to win the chip.
Gordon Hayward is a legend bro just unfortunate injuries came in
This was an awesome episode
definitely top 5 interview gordon is a great solid guy
Another day, another banger. Here's to a year of success on and off the court🍻
Dam this is one of the best interviews i seen on the channel.
BEST PODCAST YET. The stories and conversations had in the podcast was so engaging the whole time! Much love for Gordon, one of those players that I always root for ever since seeing him play with Utah.
Gordon bought a honda accord, my man stood our business and got himself a reliable car
Hey P I’m a huge fan of yours and the podcast and also the Clippers and so is my team(I am the Assistant Coach). We are a super small 1A school in Missouri, but got the chance to do play like the pros in Memphis at the FedEx Forum on January 12th the night that y’all play the Grizzlies. Really looking forward to experience but I didn’t think it would hurt to ask if you could come watch a couple minutes of our game that starts at 1pm and we have the floor until 2:30pm. Regardless, we are really looking forward to seeing you guys play later that evening!!
Man, I can sit and listen to Kobe stories All day!
I sit here and smile and laugh as if I knew him or something 😄. Kobe was savage and helpful all at the same time. Lol.
Love it though.
RIP legend.
My favorite 2 players in the association! My favorite episode!
Wait hold up, when did the upgrades happen to the studio, love it. Makes the show even better
Easily best episode so far
Gordon was truly a great player. I was so sad when he went down in Boston. Of all the injuries I've seen in basketball over the years, I felt like Gordon's and Jeremy Lin's were some of the most soul crushing. That's not to take away from Brandon Roy or Greg Oden or whatever, but I felt Gordon's and Jeremy's.
The fact that both of them had a serious injury in their career is something I’ll never forget
Would love to see more guys from the 2k10 draft class!
Damn. Gordon is so chill
Happy New Years P 🫡
Great interview P
Ok that's actually fuckin crazy that they're the last two players from the 2010 draft still in the league. Looking down that draft list is crazy, but he's absolutely right. Wall, Evan Turner, Derrick Favors, Boogie, Greg Monroe, Aminu, Larry Sanders, Bledsoe, Avery Bradley, Lance Stephenson, just a graveyard of former NBA players.
😢
sum of them r being blackballed from getting on teams😭 sum of them can for surely still give sum buckets and defense in a lil 10-15 minute span
And to think Lebron and cp are still playing and crushing it makes there longevity even more crazy.
@@martindominguez1518 and even guys like Jeff Green, Ish Smith, shits crazy with how professional they kept their bodies at that younger age when no one was doing it at the level of CP3 and especially Bron
Most of them guys are overseas and used to play in the NBA. Some of them should be on nba, right now.
GREAT episode!
Amazing stories, loved it
Favorite podcast favorite player! Miss you in Indy PG
This was a great episode to listen to and watch and i appreciate the talks about Kobe and the USA team. Could the next guest be Anthony Edwards, he’s sooo authentic with everything?
Another Great Podcast Episode You Guys Keep Up The Great Work #Swag
Glad to see Gordon with a great team like OKC now. Let's go!
Great episode boys!!
I remember this guy coming up pretty cool episode to watch...glad to hear this story his story starting the year off.
