What a great teacher you are Sir , I wish I had been 40 years younger and discovered you then. You give such great advice. I am 79 years old now and I love to still sing at the odd function. Thank you for your videos on You tube. Regards from England.
LOVE your rendition of this, but I have to laugh because the day before I first listened to this, I had watched an excerpt of an interview with Mario del Monaco (here on CZcams). In it, he spoke of how Neapolitan songs were more difficult than opera, because "you have to sing at the top of your lungs." Then he went on to say the most difficult song he ever sang was "O Sole Mio". If you want to watch the interview, here it is: /watch?v=688c5GkBU6w

wow
Why 2 tones lower?
Because he wanted to do the final like Corelli. It's 3 semitones lower.
Woow
Wow. That was beautiful. If I can swing a trip to Montreal with my family, could you give me a lesson?
Yahoodee1 so he's located in Montreal?
Maestro how does one learn to do that trill that you do on "ma na"?
well if it works well, why not?
Sure you are welcome
Вы, маэстро в нос поёте, не везде, но местами. Причём тут appogio?
