He gets high pitched because of his Cork accent. Some of the funniest people in the world come from there, such a wonderful sense of humour. I love his honesty, especially on UK tv as the English commentators don't seem to be allowed speak honestly about Maguire. Don't condone threats on Maguires life though, this does not belong in football. Couldn't agree with you more, complete honesty from and Irishman and a Scot. Hell, it stopped being funny when the owner's poor practices reared their head back when they sacked Mourinho in 2018, and Van Gaal before him (though Van Gaal's attitude and ego are what got him kicked from Bayern in 2011 so make THAT what you will). Yeah bought in 2005 and how many league titles and champions leagues did United win after that? You can't keep blaming the performances on the field on the owners, the manager and more importantly the players themselves have to shoulder the blame. Bring in a manager who knows what he wants and give him time to build the team he wants instead of this ridiculous oh we've lost a couple of games so we need to sack the manager. Stability is what's needed and discipline coupled with the right player recruitment. Look at the players United have bought since Sir Alex left and how many of them have been a success.Di Maria waste of money, Shweinsteiger wom, Sneiderlin wom, DePay wom, Sanchez wom, Blind wom, Maguire wom, Pogba wom, the list goes on. Then we bought players we didn't need like Sancho and Dan James plus Van de Beek gets overlooked and sent out on loan. Cavani constantly on the injury list along with Bailey, Varanne and Jones. Then you have player's contracts being renewed unnecessarily like Jones and Bruno. The background staff are simply not up to the job either. All of this has happened in just 9 years and it will take a massive turnaround to get United back to where they were under Sir Alex if that's even possible. Changing the owners won't put it right and don't get me wrong I'm not a fan of the Glazers but I think the blame needs to be focused in the right places.

Keane and Souness come from an era where playing and competing for trophies was the priority for most players. Winning and playing the long-term game is not their priority.

Even as a Liverpool fan, I am really surprised it's that bad for United. We all excepted things to go south when the greatest manager of all time retried, but to be this bad is really shocking. Liverpool had really bad players and we suffered a lot from Rafa's days until Klopp arrived, from your Jovanovic, Konchesky, Aquilani, Assaidi, Poulsen and even Balotelli and I literally wouldn't know what side would turn up and always expected us to either lose or draw every week... BUT, when it came to North West Derbies, Merseyside derbies, big games or even European Nights, you just know the team would turn up, give 150% and cause an upset. I just don't see that from any player at United apart from Ronaldo.

The easiest 6 points I've ever seen Liverpool win in any of the seasons I've supported this club. I've been doing so since 1998.

I have been a fan since 1974 and I beg to differ, it's just the best Liverpool side that you have seen!
Our team today use many players throughout the entire season but I remember when the same 11 players would start every game in a whole season in every competition, today's players wouldn't keep up with the same season long commitment, and the players back then didn't tire out and require resting.
The old European Cup took more games to reach the final back then too than today's Champions League and the majority of those same players won that cup three times each with the odd one winning it four times, plus, to even play in that competition you couldn't be second best, third best, fourth best or even fifth best team in the country like today, you had to be THE BEST in the country and you could only achieve that by winning the league by playing full on football all season long and beating everyone you played and just look how many times Liverpool's players achieved that between 1974 to 1985.
At one point Liverpool set the record for unbeaten run in the league from December 1978 until February 1980 with 63 unbeaten games played, and yet the later Liverpool team from 1985 to 1991 was deemed to be even greater but sadly as a result of Heysel in 1985 they never got to play in Europe but again this was still a time in which the same players would pretty much start every game in an entire season.
To be perfectly honest and in all fairness it is wrong to compare eras against each other when the game today is no longer the same game that was many years ago, competitions have changed, the amount of games has changed, many rules have changed and today's players wouldn't have lasted very long years ago, tactics have changed and the use of squads has changed, nothing about today's game can be compared to the game as it once was, they are like two totally different sports now.
Today's team is truly great, but so too was the teams managed by Shankly, Paisley, Fagan and Dalglish, you can't really call today's team the greatest ever without totally depreciating those teams and managers from bygone ages.

The Biggest mistake Man UTD made was when they Jose and to make it worse replace with Ole. If you gonna pull the gun on one of the greatest manager of all time, you'll should have the decency to replace him with someone great or close. Also not back to Jose when he had issues with certain players in the club which time has proven he was right about them.
