This was a brilliant session! From start to finish, the weather was wild! Lots of laughter along the way, just like last years St Patrick’s day video on the channel!
I hope ye enjoyed this video, Paul and myself fish together in the lure fishing competition throughout the year so we get to practice every now and again at catching all three species in one day!

Got really soaked yesterday on the lake in east Clare, few pikes landed, not as big as yours. Beautiful trout, never cached one before. Keep on fishing 🎣.

They can be everywhere at the moment, I can’t give an exact depth, I’m having them in 10 meters and in 1 meter depth, they move around like crazy depending on the weather ! 🫡

Great stuff Senan. Hoping to get out on Lough Ree over Easter. Love to catch a few trout and of course some big pike. Have to try out my black mamba and pikachu!!! What kind of boat is that? It looks class.

You should have used green baits today, lol. I watched a youtube video today where a fella used a small pike for dead bait and he hooked a 7lb jack and a pike of about 17lb attacked that and he guided the jack over the net and the 17lb also went over the net and he landed both of them.

Thanks Rory. We normally only target the predatory species, but there’s loads of different fish, roach Rudd bream eel tench hybrids to name a few

The harbours are overfished, it can be very hard to catch fish from them, no matter how good you are 🙈 the fish just aren’t there sometimes
