When you got your car tuned did you lost the DSG farts lol I just got a stage 1 tune with pop bang tune and it doesn’t do DSG farts no more my tuner said I most likely can get those back with higher horsepower applications witch I’m doing either way or with a DSG tune
The dsg tune made my farts sound like snaps because the dag shifts faster
It's good when you show us what to do on GTI and what to expect
Good stuff, OBD eleven had me ☠️ lmfao! 😂 definitely have a lot of tasteful updates to the car, I do like the gloss black wrap on the interior panels, the FMIC is a must for sure, GFB DV is the way to go, need to get rid of the headlights for updated ones and taillights possibly as well! I’m digging the steering wheel wrap that’s a must or new carbon fiber steering wheel for $$$$.
nice, excellent job w the alcantera steering wheel!
Very awesome build! I own a fbo k04 gti. Love it
Glad you like it!
Yuss love it!!!
Hell ya
Nice mods!!!
Thank you
Great video, revolting plate
Thanks for uploading a mod video Matt! I have a white mk6 gti, similar mods just a different exhaust, stock wheel/brake setup, and stock ride height. Quick question, my turbos in good condition, would you still recommend the wastegate clip? Thinking of just lowering springs instead of a full Coilover. Thanks again, great vw
Thanks! Yes I would absolutely recommend the rattle clip. It will prevent failure before it occurs.
Where are you getting e85 in mass to put in the thing? I heard Logan airport was the only place and that's waaaay far from me
🔥🔥🔥🔥
So I've got a 2010 mk6 gti. Have not done anything to it yet. But plan to this spring. What are some of your favourite/most effective performance mods?
You should do the oil catch can kit from ecs tuning. You won’t have anymore oil in the inlet of the turbo and your intercooler piping
Ive looked into that one!
Hey man, I got the same badge emblem on etsy, did the front emblem latched pretty well or no? Because mines kinda loose and easy to take off if I wiggle it
How’d you get the accessport to turn off? mine constantly in a attempting to connect if the car is off
If I install a intake, exhaust and a blow off valve do I need to install a intercooler as well
that coolant is looking fairly low, sick mk6 tho.
My son has that same brand of wheel on his MK6. What do you use to clean them?
You should refresh your headlights and tail lights. They got them on amazon. Nice car tho im planning on getting one. Got a mk4 gti w a vr6 right now
Tes at some point
Hi mine is showing a epc light only when in sport mode perhaps have any ideas or did you perhaps had tjis peoblem before?
Hi bud, love the build I have the same colour with a few mods...certainly have a coilover in mind, I just want to know how do these BC coilovers drives? Isit comfortable? Bouncy ?
Depends on how low you set them I really like them probably the besg bang for buck
I have a question about the COBB I don’t really understand so can I stage my car with cobb cause if I can then I will not take my car to tuner and buy cobb and stage it myself ?
Did you remove the stock intercooler?
Hey sick car man just curious, I own a mk6 gti with stage one tune do you think there’s a huge difference in feel of power from where your at
I would say that it’s a substantial increase a little less then the power jump from stock to stage 1
Gotta get yourself some Euro Spec tail lights
Yes
Bro my pcv failed and i started misfiring like crazy and burning a ton of oil, when i took out the bad one, i saw that it was the indestructible ones that everyone recommends. Just a warning, THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT INDESTRUCTIBLE 😂
Definitely lol just check it every once and awhile 😂
Those tires are very wide man, I run Michelin Pilot Sport 225/40 😂😂 You must eat the ground with those tires
Nice video, but couldn't help but notice your coolant level is low. Might want to add to it. 👀
Yeah I gotta add a little
6:40
Not sure about oil, but you short on coolant.
Also pretty sure that, intake filter got is really low performance
Can you link that steering wheel cover, ive been looking for one just like it.
www.ebay.com/itm/393344265522
This is my gaming channel!
Nice Video, you said you were tuned by sneeky before, why did you switch to GET? I thought sneeky would be better since its around 400$ to get their etune compared to $150 or so from GET.
All depends on demand and popularity
Sneeky is great if you have something custom going on, for example, mpi, watermeth, but if you have a basic set up like me get watkins is fantastic for the price
Is the turbo in the mk6 gen3 GLI the same one that’s in the mk6 gen1 GTI?
It’s a ko3
How much money have you put in all together? and how much was it specifically for the stage 2 and the parts that go with it?
I am going to make a video about this
255 tyres did I hear right? I have 235 admittedly the rims offset is wrong. They were in it when I git it 18 inch Simmons don't know offset but even the 235's are stretched which s a JDM look I'm not into
How many miles do you have on it? I have like 140k on it right now and i don’t know if i should put the time to mod it more. Its stage 2, has aftermarket intake, catted downpipe, ecs clutch, and coilovers
I bought mine at 96k and now it has 119k these cars go to like 230k if properly maintained but they’ll be burning a lot of oil lol
@@Matt_Pie lol mine has done 71k and has been burning through oil since day 1, had to have the engine rebuilt at 54k due to chain slipping and cracking a piston, rebuilt with forged internals and its still getting through same amount of oil lol, weird car, doesnt seem like its burning oil though, wondering if its leaking out somewhere
is castrol edge full synthetic 5w40 good oil?
It will do the job for sure
May I ask what is your LTFT, STFT and AFR on everyday driving?
May I ask what those mean
@@kippkewish9626 Good LTFT values should be as close to zero as possible, though they can range from 5 to 8 percent depending on the condition of the engine. If the LTFT is getting up around 10 percent or higher, it usually indicates a problem that needs to be diagnosed.
You should get the euro tailights they will completely transform the look of your rear end trust me dude
That one is certainly on the list!
what does the stage 2 bfi transmission mount help with?
Helps with wheel hop on launch, prevents transmission from shifting so much on launch
Hi Matt, what HP do you have on your strongest tune?
Around 300 crank and 280 wheel hp never been dynoed but that’s what my tuner got
@@Matt_Pie
What mods take you from stock to stage 1, stage 1 to stage 2, stage 2 to stage 3?
Hi, how did you contact German Elite Tuning? I tried instagram and they're not very responsive.
Through instagram, sometimes he isn’t very responsive lately unfortunately
Check your coolant level. :p
Will the cover still fit over the engine although you have the R8 coilpacks?
yes
would all of these mods apply for a3
Ya pretty much
what intercooler?
Arm fmic
Big difference from GET 93 & e30?
Very much so. Somewhere around 20 to 25 whp increase. The e30 tune makes almost as much power as the 93 upgraded ko4 tune
@@Matt_Pie i have the PBF 93 tune i love it, i want to try the e30 soon. Whats your whp ?
@@albebetta8050 never been dynoed. My guess is 280ish for 93 on a dynojet and 300ish for e30 on a dynojet
How many unicorns are you pushing?
69
Front rotors are on the wrong sides.
No
just coped mine what’s the first move?
First move, if you’re ready for power, downpipe and cobb accessport. Run the cobb tune for a little bit, then move on to things like intake, wheels, coilovers, fmic, spark plugs and coil packs, diverter valve, catback, ect.
Then get a real tune from getwatkins, or sneeky tuned.
Oh also, do any servicing first! Watch my video on how to keep your gti running forevr!
how can you tell if the gti is cbfa or ccta?
On your air box if there is a small extra tube comjng out of it its cbfa
Dyno ?
Never been
@@Matt_Pie bro 😭😭 all the mods and you’re ok not knowing the results ? Track times ? 1/4 mile
If I had the time and money I would definitely be doing that stuff, I just like the mods for the fun of driving the car they’ve paid off for me
Lol so this is FBO? come on Stock turbo/ internals :/ coil packs? this is not a mod... spark plugs lol
Full bolt on means bolt on parts... the internals are not bolt on parts that requires full deconstruction of the motor. Spark plugs are necessary as you need to run a step colder gap, I needed new coil packs mine were old.
Hope you have another turbo on order if you're running "pop bang and flame" tune lol... leave that crap to the poser bmw crowd... Nice car though overall man.
Ill get an hpa ko4 after this ko3 dies
@@Matt_Pie nice I've been K04 for 6 years its a huge jump up. Do it before the k03 dies anyway lol
4 door :(
