So if they want you out of the property to build a freeway or something else, You are out. You need permission for everything you do to your house such as additions, painting it a different color...i mean its endless. There are so many laws.

  • @crazwizardlizard
    @crazwizardlizard Před 5 lety +2

    i understand the ranchers perspective, i really do. i would hate it if drug cartels used my land as a silk road for harmful substances. but the long term solution isnt 'secured borders', at least not in the way that republicans mean when they use that phrase. we need to have much more reasonable substance laws, unharmful things like weed need to be decriminalized and taxed properly, opioid addiction needs to be dealt with in new ways, not the "zero tolerance, war on drugs" way.
    In regards to people crossing the border as immigrants, not drug traffickers, we actually have forced more people to stay here long term with our stricter immigration policies. for one, most 'illegal immigrants' come to the us by plane, not by foot. for two, manual laborers that come to the us to work on farms used to only come seasonally, they would leave again in the off-season. but when they fear that they wont be able to come back and work that job again next year, they just stay all year and become an illegal resident. and thats when people can reasonably worry about them placing strain on the system. but if we dont make the migrant workers fear they wont be able to come back again to work the manual labor jobs (that no american citizen actually wants) then a lot of them would not be living here full time.
    so, i understand the fear of drug cartels, and the desire to stop them. but republican rhetoric isnt about dealing with mexican border illegal crossings because some are for drugs, its about how all mexicans are bad and criminals and so none of them should be coming here. and i dont believe for a second that the rancher in this video really fears or hates mexicans, he just hates the drug cartels, and for good reason! hes been duped by trumps larger than life personality and dynamic speech, and thinks that trump cares about what he cares about. but he doesnt! he is only using border policy as a talking point to get racists and normal conservatives alike to vote for him. that rancher hears sensible border policy when trump talks, but racists hear racist rhetoric and dog whistles. trump has truly hijacked the republican party.

However, I must say, my mom is a substitute teacher in Louisiana and she makes minimum wage...which is about 7.30 or so an hour and would be absolutely astounded to be able to make enough to afford a house,
    I don't understand this unexamined simultaneous attempt at portraying middle class people who make salaried jobs as suffering, whilst showing video footage of poor black folk in Chicago being slaughtered by the pigs.....and emphasizing the former over the latter.
    Yeah capitalism is a shitty system and Marx outlined this pretty comprehensively in the nineteenth century when he wrote both the Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts and Capital in three volumes, yet why is there this emphasis on the non existent suffering of teachers who can maintain property ownership under capitalism?
    They don't know what it's like to struggle for your life, yet they can project their, as Melanie Klein outlined, projective identification and subsequent self entitlement all over everyone else.
    I'm merely at a loss for words concerning this unexamined disparity.

      So Ho Education is not free! There is public school available without direct cost to the children through grade 12, however it is paid for by a small portion of tax paid by homeowners. The government has the choice to divert more money to support the education of their people or let those inspired to teach suffer and continue to be underpaid.

    My question is, why is it so easy to scare Americans? Canadians live just across the border, yet Canadians aren't so easy to scare, so why is that? I really don't get why Americans are so easy to manipulate and control!

    You'd think that an only child in a house with two teachers would be able to actually speak properly and not like a 2 year old. Before getting all political how about you stop crippling your kid

    The cold, hard truth is: your vote, your opinion does not matter. There is a circle of people in the shadows that pull the strings, that influence humanity to their whim. The ONLY way to take their power away is to not play the game

      El no, definitely not an option. Politics are about making decisions that effect our daily lives, taking that away from children would be crippling them. Now if you mean we should keep partisanship out of schools than we can talk.

      Teachers are biased when they teach politics we should teach kids about doing their taxes not politics

      @@el5495 we learn about American politics In every social studies class (that's content takes place in the u.s.a)weather, it's past or present. Politics are important as they are the basis for our everyday life. Most kids in america go to public school which is always on the ballots for one reason or another because public school is a STATE RUN PROGRAM. School's teach about politic, taxes, credit cards, renting, and buying houses. The issue though with its teaching is it often only teaches taxes and things like that once or twice over a 13 year period of learning(kindergarten to 12th grade)
