I always thought changing steps (say, from pressing 3 keys to 4 keys) in sequencer is not wrong but you convinced me this variety adds interest to the track. It is best to use when more than 2 sequencer patterns are playing simultaneously. Thank you very much. I would not tell if it is just a video on youtube or legendary Thorsten Quaesching (Tangerine Dream) playing. Please, send me the linkif you have more like this on streaming platforms.

Hi - You can find all my music here: czcams.com/play/PLnbB-G_ugUQ1gioCWyazQ0I2etX2foG8M.html
I have used metric variations to create polymeters in some of these pieces:: czcams.com/play/PLnbB-G_ugUQ3dcFXJ3H3PzbAKLHE5U5rO.html
      Hope that helps 😊

That track is spectacular. I’d love to hear how it sounds mastered.
(I might have written this before.) it would be awesome if some of those plug-ins (like the SQ-80V) could be uploaded to a “mega-model” like the Korg Kronos or the Akai MPC Key. I know I’ve quibbled previously how playing software synths on a computer in a MIDI environment using a remote controller has always seemed “distant”. Could I stand to “grow up”, Ian?

The original video was a mastered version
There's no technical reason why a keyboard could not support VSTs - Arturia's Astrolab does this - but I suspect there are other issues and reasons why this is not commonplace.

So my question for you is this… where did you get the Vital pad used in this video. I wanted to ask this in the earlier video, but now that you’ve used it again I thought that I’d ask. New subscriber… thanks for your channel and specific content.

      Thanks, Jim, much appreciated👍
According to the Author tag, this came from Chris at S1gns of life. I think he gave away some patches a while ago but many of his videos show how to make Vital pads. Hope this helps 😊

@@IanWaugh I'm very familiar with Chris from S1ngs of L1fe and even purchased his Vital soundbank pack, so I more than likely have that pad and just didn't realize it. I especially enjoyed the technique of staggering the pads so that the chordal variations add texture to the piece. Thank you again, Ian!
