Whenever I find a hot deal on something really special like the rocking horse, I always pay for it immediately and take it out to lock up inside the car. Can always come back and resume shopping afterwards.

People who live in a large area with several thrift shops don’t truly know how fortunate they are. Three of our thrift shops have closed and our Goodwill looks nothing like the ones you show! Just high-priced garage sale leftovers and no bargaining.
Yes, I totally agree with you. The few thrift stores in my area are so over priced, that there truly is no meat on the bone for resale. And so close to retail price that I'd rather pay a couple of extra dollars and get it brand new. I have to travel pretty far to find things to sell.
Hi Danni, looks more like a Great Dane than a Doberman, judging by the long tail and solid coat colour. Dobies are usually two tone and in the US tail docking is allowed along with the ear cropping. Great Danes are seen with cropped ears but their tails are usually left long.❤️

I found a Mr. Xmas carousel on the side walk, box and all I guess the people that were doing the clean out didn’t want to take the time to see if all the pieces were intact, but I did and it was missing 1 tiny piece I sold it for $85 ! I didn’t even know what Mr Christmas was until I got home to look it up

This format is a huge improvement. Quality time vs looking at every piece of junk. yea! Also really like voice over, much better content. Keep the reindeer, you can always sell him later. That's one of the perks.

Watercolor was a great buy.
I always grab the tag on stuff & then head right to checkout or stop an employee to have them take the item up front. Too many times they say they won’t sell stuff without a price but they do it anyway.
Minute 18: those 2 blue cups were likely tea cups, rather then Saki. Saw and used lots of cups designed without handles, back when I lived in Japan for 4 Years. Saki cups tend to be about half that size. Enjoyed the video!

At 18:34 the ones you call saki cups could very likely be tea cups. Traditional Japanese teacups have no handle. If the cup is too hot to hold, it is said the tea is too hot to drink.

Normally, any framed artwork on paper will have a glass cover to protect the object. Oil or acrylic artworks on canvas or board do not require a cover.

I am glad that you rescued the horse!! I would assume they would have done an announcement about who has the tag before selling it which is what my GW stores do. I almost found out the hard way that if it is an item you have to pick up the next day, make sure and stay until they take to the back! If it had not been that the person took a Very Large, Gorgeous Mirror to the same person that checked me out, I would have lost it! It had a sticker instead of a white paper tag and they did not remove from the floor right away. I am soooo thankful because it turned out my $19.99 mirror is worth over $1,000.00!! I also take an item up to the check out if too large for my cart and tell someone. That Horse is fabulous and I am sure you will sell it! PLEASE DO TELL THE BRAND AND COLOR OF YOUR NAIL POLISH ~ I LOVE IT!!

Love a horse story
I went to the goodwill today. I found a coach purse and a dooney and bourke purse. When I was paying for them I was told a mistake was made and those purses were supposed to go to the goodwill on line auction. To late. I bought both for $7.99 each
LOL It made me laugh when you said someone covered up the smiley face smile on purpose. That's exactly what I was thinking.
I could shop for Christmas all year round.

18:13 the black candle with inlayed was from Gardenridge Pottery. They sold decorative items, dried flowers, vases, garden decorations, etc. My son told me he remembered going with me when he was young. This was Houston. I moved to Austin and a couple of years ago they closed. I think it is now Home Goods.
