Danni, after watching this video I had to check this place out. If you check this video at the 28.05 mark, behind the wooden salad bowl and under another item. You can just see the georges briard wood and glass box Crazy Lamp lady recently sold for $195! I've wanted that piece and scored it for $19.

I loved Crocodile Hunter too! I was so shocked and sad when he died .

I agree with Jordan; you just need to be creative. Turn the bench on it's side and wear it as a stylish backpack or clothing accessory. This reminds me of an old Carroll Burnett show skit where Carroll (as Scarlett) used old drapes, complete with curtian rod as shoulder pads, to make a new dress. 🤣💙

I believe the textured glass bowl you thought was Finnish/Swedish is made by Hoya of Japan. I almost bought one but researched and came up with that but I agree, it looks very Scandinavian!

Hi, I’ve been to that thrift store before . They used to be a furniture store and recently decided to turn it into a thrift store so I think a lot of that furniture is their leftover . 😊

Toile is pronouced "twall" (short a). I was so proud of myself when I learned how to pronouce it. I have made some pillows in a blue and white print. That Fenton pale yellow-green was popular in the 70's when I got several pieces of it--I think the color is called custard. I went on one trip; I mailed some of my purchases home wrapped in dirty laundry so I could pack my treasures and bring them home! Another time we bot a $20 duffle to pack T-shirts for the kids at home! Will you thrift a suitcase?

Garage sales are great! Prices are good even estate sales! You are right thrift store are getting pricey! Not a reseller just love beautiful things at a great price! Very careful not to collect too much give my friends my old treasures as I upgrade!

12:24 My theory about thrift stores raising their prices is that their merchandise will not move fast enough at the the higher prices, so they will either have to have frequent sales or reduce their prices.

I was a huge fan of Steve Irwin. I cried so hard the day he died. He was and still is one of my biggest heroes. And Bindi, Robert, Terri, Chandler, and all of Steves friends at the wildlife center are doing Steve proud.
I just LOVE seeing you shop with your kiddos. They each have their own interests and you teach them all about it. I especially enjoy seeing you and Jordan together...such an adult bonding time. I have 2 sons 44 and 41). The youngest son likes the antiques from his grandparents on both sides but not so much the things I have bought...except for my Christmas village and Christmas china. The older doesn’t care one way or another.

I'm going to watch this with the idea that Jordan is going to pick her furniture as soon as she enters the building so you won't be able to buy much at all. The toile is pronounced 'twoll' but staying a bit longer on the 'o' sound. Hope that helps. My grand daughter is related to Steve the crocodile hunter.
This was an interesting shop! A lot out of your price range for re-selling, but you were still able to find great pieces. The sugar bowl you picked up at 4:03 was most likely Salopian Ware made by Caughley in England in the late 1700's. The pieces are quite rare, especially in the US, so even broken, it was worth the $8 asking price. At 8:53 you picked up a bamboo trivet but failed to notice a matching teapot for the sugar bowl right next to it! That would have probably been a good buy as well, as the spout looked like it was in good condition. I wish I had been there!! At 5:33 you noticed a pitcher, which you said was majolica. I believe it was a Prattware jug from England, made around 1800. I imagine finding 200+ ceramics is not usual in that store! Hope you don't mind my pointing out things you missed. I was just excited about the pieces and wanted to share!
