I actually had a doll trunk just like that ( but in pink) when I was little in the early 1960's!!! The interior was exactly the same and you hung the doll clothes on miniature hangers on the little bar at the top and stored accessories in the drawer at the bottom. Watching your videos, I can't believe how many things I recognize from my own life and from cherished items that I have inherited! It's like strolling down memory lane. Love ya!!!

The small statue with the silver colored spheres is a miniature of the Atomium in Brussels (Belgium). It was built for the World Expo in 1958 and was renovated between 2004 and 2006. Today it is an art center and the international symbol of Brussels (in Belgium).🙋🏼

The Crazy Lamp Lady, just sold a candle stick that matched Cala Lily bowl.
Be that easier if you pick the things up you see now and each day you pick up you go to the goodwills take it to your new house so that way you don't have to take it to the old house and then have to pack it up to move back over to the new house just drop it off at the new house and that way we already over there so you don't have to move it
That's what is happening ;-)
When you get stuff just drop it off at your new place 😉

Fantastic photos!!! My favourite is the pink flowers but the others are amazing too. Love the cushions! As soon as they came into view my eyes were stuck on them lol. Great finds. Kari is an incredible treasure!!! I love how you appreciate each other.

That vintage doll wardrobe case is awesome. I would use it for dvds. I also loved the vintage powder blue divided dish. So glad you picked it up. At family dinners, I would use it for veggies or salads. The chicken glasses where also great. You did good Dani. You go girl!!!

I love going virtual shopping with you. You are so informative. And of course, I always have to go test my shopping knowledge at our thrift stores in Ohio! I'm not a reseller and have no desire to be, but if I ever come across a Glassy Baby, you better believe I'll snatch it! I was watching an episode of a British tv show a few years ago and they were using their butter dish upside down. Unless it was made like that. I don't know, but I was hooked, since we like to leave our butter on the counter. So I found a big glass one with a flat top that holds two sticks and we love it. Almost like a small glass covered loaf pan.
I love shopping “with” you. I have learned so much from watching. I find thrifting and exploring relaxing, but my Goodwill is tiny and has very few hard goods. Very little joy there. It’s more fun to watch you anyway!

That purple thing is a custom made back brace. My son wore one for a crack in the back and my brother also who broke his back. Could not stand up without it.
I like that big desk you came to first. I like a butter dish with or without a handle, preferably without probably.

I was lucky twice last month at Goodwill. I found a Kate Spade bag for $69 normally close to $400. I don’t think it ever been used and it had the logo on it out of the metal not the embossed stamp. Then I found a Brighton bag for $49. I’m not sure what that retails for but I had a good run on purses last month.
Great find on the pictures. They should sell well and you might find some for your new home.

I cannot stop thinking about the fact that not long ago, you were a single mom that had to utilize the free camp for her kids and are now a very successful business woman, employing several people and moving into what many could consider a mansion. You should be very proud of how far you’ve come.

I will go onto my local Goodwill store once in a while and sometimes I don’t find anything, but other times I find more than I need or want. And, I am not even a reseller. I usually buy small decorative items And I like the dripping scars or a tapestry on a railing.
At 11:05, that might’ve been an Orient and Flume art glass pink flower vase, which can sell for around $350+ in that size! 👀

That blanc de chine Kuan Yin was also broken on her right side. There is a “ribbon” over both shoulders that is almost always broken on one side or the other. I have had to leave them behind before because of that, even though I used to collect Kuan Yins.

On your chicken glasses, rub them with oil and leave on over night and the red will look like new. Wash them in the morning.
I made a curtain out of that cow material in the early 1990's for my back door. Unfortunately it didn't last long cause my dog got angry and tore it off.

The back brace is called TLSO and you are correct there are molded to a specific pt. It actually should be thrown away or returned to back ortho office to be destroyed.
