Recipe :
Ingredients :
Masoor dal - 1/2 cup
Moong dal - 1/4 cup
Toor dal - 1/4 cup
Rinse dal and keep aside
Onion - 1 ( Chop into small pieces )
Tomato - 1 ( Chop into small pieces )
Garlic cloves - 4 ( chop into small pieces )
Curry leaves
Green chillies - 2 ( slit )
Dried Red chillies - 2
Cumin seeds - 1 tap
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - pinch
Kasuri methi - 1 tsp
Ghee - 1 TBSP
Oil - 1 TBSP
salt
Water - 2 cups
Procedure :
On Saute ,
Add oil , ghee , cumin seeds , Asafoetida , cumin seeds , Dried Red chillies ,Curry leaves, grated ginger, chopped garlic saute a minute.
Add onion, green chillies , saute till onions turn light brown , now add tomatoes cook till tomatoes turn mushy
Add all the spices, coriander powder , chilli powder ,Turmeric powder , cumin powder , kasuri methi mix well.
Add washed dals and mix well.
Add water 2 cups
salt and mix well.
Cancel saute
Set time : 5 minutes
Release - Natural Release
Open the lid and add coriander leaves and butter mix well.
