I feel sorry for anyone that plays golf and isn't subscribed to Jonathan. I'm just an Old washed up d1 golfer that played @ Clemson University and is reliving his glory days as a club pro here and I'm telling you this entire channel is nothing but pure gold. Any amateurs out there this channel is all you need. Dude is giving lessons out that anywhere else they would charge you $$ into oblivion before you even learned half of this.
At the University of Texas the way they teach their guys to finish their chips with the club handle by their hip is to envision they're going "holster" their club into their hip after the shot. Keeps it nice and tight to the body.

Great tips, thanks. I've found starting the downswing with the hips helps me take it round. Could you do a video on chipping 5 to 20 feet from grass that's too long for the putter?

DO YOU chip with every club? … or just with wedges?
