I'm also planning on building a habitat for my next rig. There isn't anyone else making content like this for this kind of project so I really appreciate the details you put into your videos that others would edit out.

Coming soon, but I think I will do a test fabrication on the pass through door and hatches before I tackle the door.

Stairs for trucks are a difficult problem, how you did it was my first idea but I scrapped it when I realised how much internal space I was loosing and that the door would have to open outwards. I used the motor from a roller shutter to push a frame with the stairs in and out under the box that I can controll with my phone. I lot of mucking around for sure but what else am I going to do, sit around watching video's like yours is usually the answer ;)

Lol yes watching my videos is appreciated for sure, but your idea sounds very interesting. I have seen someone pushing out the stair and the attached fender together with an linear actuator pneumatically. We had the same kind of stair on our old RV and so we are use to this type .

5:20 I forgot how good those boxes came out.
No one talks about the 100mm distance between the cab and habitat. 👍
The value you provide in these videos is second to none.
So I can just imagine what information and education value you will bring to your members area. Well done 👏 ✔️ 👍
    Great job on the stairs.😊

Oscar, in this video there is a shot of your subframe with is attached with springs. Why did use decide to go with springs instead of a 3 point subframe? The engineer from Unicat Expedition Vehicles, explains in a video on sub-frames, that using springs is not a good solution for expedition vehicles. Thanks again.

I decided to go with that type of subframe for three reasons 1. Low build up height, the frame is 6inches tall that's it 150 mm, this also keeps the overall height low. 2. I don't need a extremally off road capable vehicle. 3. I can build this frame type my self from scratch vs torsion free frame is not so easy doable.
