Meghalayan Medical Drugs and Services Limited (MMDSL) was established by the Government of Meghalaya to transform healthcare accessibility in the state. As we reflect on MMDSL's remarkable journey and achievements, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of this initiative. Together, we look forward to continuously growing and strengthening healthcare in Meghalaya!
Mission:
To empower healthcare in the state by streamlining drug and medical equipment procurement, supply, and maintenance for state health facilities and to enhance efficiency by ensuring continuous access to essential medical supplies, while elevating service providers' skills in drug management.
Our duty also extends to the responsible disposal of medical assets, safeguarding both the environment and public health for a healthier, more prosperous Meghalaya.

The biggest hospitals also don't have medications till date. Ask patients in Civil Hospital Shillong how many medications they have to buy from private pharmacies which are part of EDL.

All over Meghalaya there are shortage of staffs/paramedical staffs so and so. Worse ever Healthcare facilities all over Khasi hills/garo hills.
