I have ordered the one youbare hokding but i am still waiting for it. My laptop has an HDMI slot but my canon M50 does not get picked up through it with an HDMI cable.
Do you have a Hdmi on a monitor or TV where you can test the camera to see if it at least works there? Maybe your laptop needs a laptop driver update to ensure the hdmi can be recognised when plugged in

Hi Zulf so it looks like the HDMI port on my laptop is only an OUT and not an IN port. So i can plug my laptop to my tv and the laptop shows up. But it doesnt work to receive hdmi signal, only to send. So i will just wait for my capture card to arrive. Tha ks for the tips.
@@VioletHenning The hdmi to usb card will turn the hdmi out to a usb signal which you can use. How long has it been since you ordered it mine came within 3 days

Isn’t there a capture card with an SD card reader built into it so the game is recorded into it?
I wan to start streaming on twitch and was i formed using a capture card would be best. I play on Xbox and have a Mac for any possible stream I may do. What is the best capture card I can use and what else would you recommend to start off good on twitch. Please and thank you.
What games do you play? this card only gets 30fps. You might want 60fps and may be better with a higher speed capture card. I do not use Mac yet so haven't tested any software I understand you can still use OBS on Mac
@@zulfphotography Xbox one to be specific and I do play games that would require high FPS. Since I want to stream what I’m playing on Xbox,and interact with followers on twitch on my MacBook. Are capture cards what captures the gameplay and transfers them to a different screen or something (all I know is that I’d need one). I still need a lot of help setting up how I’d stream from Xbox and other stuff I need but I’ve saved a good amount of money. Also I appreciate you responding quick deposite me responding late

So I'm assuming using one of these taxes your system resources way way way less?
Not really. It just allows you to convert an hdmi video signal to a USB, which your computer can understand
@@zulfphotography I have a video capture just like yours I have a laptop I which I play games so if I connect it to my led will it display laptop screen in tv or not my HDMI port of laptop is broken that's why I ordered this
