Do you have to turn it on manually each time you use your car (i.e., eject adaptor, press power button on adaptor, then re-insert adaptor) or does the adaptor turn on automatically when it senses your phone's Bluetooth signal?

I don't drive my Corvette that much so I've only charged it once since I got it. That was after about 7 total hours of use.
