- This 1981 Harley Davidson shovelhead FLH has been sitting for a few months over winter. The video shows the removal, cleaning and installation of the stock Keihin carburetor, along with a new carb support bracket from gas box.

I prefer a bendix because I’m used to running them but have the stock Keihin on this FLH. I keep it clean and it gives me no problems. What model S&S are you running?

Looks and sounds good! Could use some new head gaskets though! I can see they both are leaking. Shed run and sound even better after
Yeah she’s coated in oil, the entire engine is due for a rebuild soon. The rocker boxes are leaking more than anything and dripping down to the heads.
@MotorLeague Just did a ground up rebuild on my shovelhead, was very labor intensive! But worth every penny and hour I spent on it.
