Cindy Chavez and the city of San Jose just shut off fuel for aircraft such as this one (high performance). This makes it more likely aircraft like this will have fuel related accidents, since they can't get local fuel, but have to go to other airports and come back again. Why did Cindy shut off the fuel? Because Cindy is on a campaign to shut down the airport, and is pulling every dirty trick in the book, including shutting down the baseball field at the airport to try to pit the neighbors against the airport.

City can’t say shit. If Cindy becomes mayor, she won’t be able to do anything to the airport. That’s county of Santa Clara and FAA jurisdiction. Cindy’s only campaigning against the airport to get votes and be mayor. After that she won’t give a shit about RHV. Plus she wants “affordable housing” in place of the airport. And if the airport goes, the prices of all homes in the area will go way up .

@@MrBollywood1020 With respect, so far she has shut off gasoline to the airport, cancelled all of the leases and put all of the tenents (aircraft mechanics, sales, training, etc) on month to month so they can't plan their future, cancelled the baseball games that were an important source of community relations, floated a made up political report about lead pollution at the airport and could well pull a mayor Daley and destroy the airport in the middle of the night. She has done a lot.

@@scottfranco1962 I completely agree. I didn’t say she hasn’t done anything already. She has absolutely caused many many problems and is doing whatever she can to shut down the airport and get votes to become mayor… which is all she cares about in the end.

City of San Jose has some geniuses working for them. Let’s have a small airport right next to a residential neighborhood and a busy street. Let’s also build a massive airport and have the airplanes fly directly over downtown so the city can’t have a skyline like every other major city in the country. Don’t get me started on the freeways.

You know I seen two many plane crashes happen from that airport and don't get me wrong it's cool that the airport community has things for kids and family events to look at planes and see up close more about how they function but when I grew up there was a plane that landed on top of east ridge mall there was a accident where there was a plane crashed into the trees by the dealership before the runway to land and that person died now what could've happened if the elementary school was open and kids were right there on that fence line
