Hi everyone! I had a lot of fun making the audio for the Rantaro execution I made, so I decided to mess around a bit and make Kaede’s execution but without any music and only sound effects. I suppose this is what the other characters would have heard. It’s not perfect of course, it was surprisingly complicated to make but I hope you all enjoy this waste of time lmao 😭😭

Kirumis was terrifying just from watching it 😭 its scary to think how the drv3 cast felt while watching it live
Fun Fact About this execution: The Monokubs were playing the song wrong it’s supposed to be played on the black notes not the white and this is also a beginners song so it’s made to make her feel despair cus she can’t play a easy song as the ultimate pianist and the keys being played only white is supposed to represent her not being the real blackened
I think they didn't play it on the black notes to show her innocence because she was framed

The reason it's played on the white notes is because she wasn't really the blackened, Tsumugi, the mastermind was so playing it on the white keys is so her innocence is shown

If Kaede actually was the blackened, I think she wouldn't survive even 1 second. Because the black notes are actually *VERY* close to the spikes so she would be stabbed instantly.

The addition of Kaede desperately gasping for air was equal parts disturbing and heart wrenching. Kudos for instilling emotions like I was watching the execution for the first time!
What makes things even sadder is that this execution lasted 8 hours.

Yo, genuine question: what makes y’all think this execution lasted for eight hours? Apart from the clock in the background, which is usually the only bit of evidence I hear that backs it up.
I believe it was mentioned that the outside world got bored really easily. And I dunno about you, but I don’t think they would have watched an execution for eight straight hours- no matter how bloodthirsty they were.
Plus, I feel like the rest of the group (Schuichi, Kaito, Ryoma, everyone) would’ve tried to do _something,_ and not have just stood around.
And yes, I know Danganronpa isn’t exactly logical at times, so it’s possible it coulda been eight hours. But this theory feels farfetched. 😅 If you wanna head cannon it, that’s fine- I’m not gonna force you to stop- I just don’t see it as being, in any way, cannon, so I kinda wanna know what makes y’all believe it.

This was so much more disturbing without the music and actually kinda scary. I just can’t imagine what Shuichi was feeling when he saw that...just imagining Kirumi and Korekiyos now. Kirumi was literally being cut of her flesh with saws and Kiyo was boiled alive....poor babies 😥
It really makes you realise, this is what the rest of the dr3 cast would have heard, the rope, Kaede gasping for air. It’s heartbreaking really
When I first saw Kaede’s execution,I thought Monokid took the blow and I started crying.

The fact that Kaede's execution lasted 8-10 hours, she could barely breath the whole time makes it even more gruesome...
Also the end with Kaede hanging gave me flashbacks to Ibuki's dead body

it makes you more afraid when it's without of music, the worst is that characters probably feel the execution without music, so they hear the horrible sounds combined with a brutal death

fun fact: this execution took about 7-8 hours since when she touched the floor she could breathe (probably why they added the gasping for air sound effects) and they had to stand there watching kaede die for almost a day. danganronpa really has no mercy...

Fun fact: On Der flohwalzer the song is played on black notes but monokuma made kaede use the white notes which point out she wasn't the blackened.

I mean, maybe, but the black notes were closer to the spikes, so if she was at the black notes she would have gotten stabbed and probably kill her faster, and Monokuma wants to make her feel despair and suffer of course.
To be honest the part when she fell down with her red eyes has me crying 😭

Fun fact : When the monokubs head rolls down it was originally suppoesed to be kaedae's. But they decided not to as it would be too grusome.
