But this is a revolution in which everyone will be able to express their creativity and show their ideas that would otherwise require a studio, a team of specialists, and a lot of money and time. I believe that in five years a film with this image quality will be created.

_Nightmares of the Andromeda Galaxy_ was the first video that the CZcams algorithm sent my way, and made a big impression. I also really liked _The Horrific Empires of the Orion Nebula._ And now _The Terrors of the Triangulum Galaxy_ joins that group of outer space, outer limits, retro-profound-weird that is just really capturing my imagination.

When is this going to be a movie! It looks so good there must be a story to go with these images. Make a movie or a series or something.
If you want something a bit more narrative based, I made this video on my other CZcams channel Xinferis (no TV): czcams.com/video/-xFqsBKRgr0/video.html
If you mean something more like a full live action movie, I wouldn't mind doing something like that. It's just a very different scale of project than I am doing now. At this point I would definitely not have the budget to do something on that scale. If this channel ends up being highly successful, I would definitely want to do a kickstarter to make a full length film with similar themes.
The videos I made were initially made to highlight my music. For example with my other channel, I literally released a new video each day with a new composition. After a year of making them, the visuals have consumed more and more of the production time and the music ended up being a very small part of the production time.
Film is definitely something I have a deep interested in, but as you can see from what I described above, it's a huge departure from where I started with my videos.
That being said I am slowly adding more of a narrative structure to the videos I am making at the moment, but I am still trying to keep it a bit loose narratively, so I have more flexibility with what art I can create for the videos.

Excellent! I wish current makers of sci-fi films would use these types of concepts rather than the usual man-in-a-suit creatures.
They could definitely do it with CGI, but it may be difficult to make things fit narratively. Maybe that would be a good challenge for a filmmaker. With the loose narratives I have in my videos, it makes it a lot easier to make the art and concepts fit.

We finally make it to the planet Andora! The Planet itself seems inhabitated but with a closer look it clearly looks populated. It's seems to have a natural and artificial made up cave system with barely any bulding sticking out on the surface. Some exceptions are a couple of pyramids and cubes but our scanners detected a whole system underground. We expect to make contact wthis this unique civilization soon!
Explorer Diary entry N 568 Triangulum Galaxy:
Well things turn quite odd and interesting. We made contact and given permission to land!. Upon arrive we were greeted by tall humanoids quite similar to us humans. Others try to interact with the less look humans but they react with fear or hostillity. We quiclky learn the planet is ruled by a caste system. The human like ones are the bosses, while "the others" are the servants or slaves. IA and robots do still exsist but are totally submissive to the upper cast. A nasty rumor started to circulate among some crew members "They are Vampires" they say. But c'mon! Vampires? Really?! we are way past those old myths from 2000 years ago...rigth?

Seems out stay in Andora is going...not so well. Turns out the myths are true. The species from the underground feeds from blood. Nobles and "Others" alike. They worthship "The blood god" and harvest artificial blood esscencial for their survival. I really have a bad feeling about this. Some members had vanished complely from thier quaters without a trace and we can't leave or stay in our ship due to malfunctions. These "Vampires" while not hostile...they seem to have seconds hidden intentions.

Things went from zero to one million in the third day. A noble gather us on the main salon and told us "Now you will became like us" according to the universal translator. Then the doors opened and vast amount of "others" vampires came by with the missing crewmembers. They all look fine, a bit emanciated but with pale skin and...fangs? Yes fangs. The commander try to speak and was inmediatly attacked by the noble. After that "The Others" came foward and attack us. We defended well with our lazer rifles but with the missfortunes they have the numbers in their favor. We run throu corridors and caves shooting and blasting our way while losing several men in the process. Probably half of us are dead or turned into theese "Vampires" I don't know. Wish me luck guys.

This is probably the future of story boarding with computer generated imagery and AI. I hope this can be made into a substantial movie (without any of the uncreative, unimaginative wokiness of current political ideological prejudices) and a good, well-crafted, well-structured storyline.... unlike much of the mediocre drivel we have being churned out nowadays.

I definitely think that AI will work well for storyboarding after a couple more iterations. It's still a bit hard to get exactly what you want at this point. For example with this video, I had to create thousands of images to get the roughly 50 I used. Things are rapidly getting better though. I used Midjourney 6 to create tomorrow's video, and I able to much more accurately set the scene than in this video which uses Midjourney 5.2.
I wouldn't mind making an actual movie in a style like this, if I had the funding and could quit my day job to do it. :) You never know, it might be possible someday. :)

Well in a sense you can any time you want by watching the video. I wouldn’t mind visiting certain parts in real life, but other parts would be terrifying. :)
When will AI be able to animate these images...and make them speak?
You can kind of do it with Runway and Pika, but it’s not up to the quality level I can get with images. I am sure it will get to the point where it’s possible to get to a high level of quality with video though. Things are advancing rapidly.

I used Midjourney (specifically version 5.2) to create the images in this video. I have used Stable Diffusion in the past, and it also works quite well.

06:02: is that the AI's interpretation of C-3PO?
I am guessing it was trying to go older school than that. I was attempting to get it to make something like old sci-fi book covers, but in a 70s sci-fi movie. I think that Star Wars was definitely drawing inspiration from things like that though.
Not a video - its a an AV playback - nice visuals - shame they will not be expanded into a story.

This is really cool. I cannot wait until we are past this Atari 2600 stage of AI. I want to make art, but keep the characters the same through it all, but these AI's cannot remember what they just created and keep a visual narrative cohesive... yet.

Hahaha Atari 2600. that brings back memories. Totally unrelated, but I am a big retro gamer. :)
I did some limited testing of a technique that solves that problem. What I did was describe the person, like "woman with red hair, green eyes, freckles" etc and then gave them a name in the prompt too (both first and last name). I always Google the name to make sure it isn't someone famous or something. I then combined that with my other prompt components (style, action, scene, etc). It doesn't work 100% of the time, but I actually got a decent number of images with someone that looked similar. I have found that a lot of work in creating AI images is getting the correct "virtual neurons" to light up in model.
Doing that with two characters in the same image would be a big challenge with current models though. So I would only show one character at the time. For example if two characters are talking to each other, just switch perspective between them.
I don't really worry if a prompt doesn't create the exact types of images I want every time. I care if statistically it creates images that are what I want often. The more often my prompt creates what I want, the better the prompt is.
Usually I don't count how many images I create for a video, but there is one video that I created over 7000 images for and only kept around 40 for the final video. So don't get frustrated or give up, you just might need to create more images.

I will just keep making my own art in Daz3d for now for my videogames I make, and wait a decade or less until we are at the PS5 of the AI world. lol Still, it's awesome what you do!
