Medusa just hauls now, it's such a better ride! I love how they're redoing sections of this park. I really hope they do the Northern Star Arena area or the Boardwalk next!
It’s amazing how much better JD this year is compared to last year. I feel like everyone that gave it a meh rating last year needs to give it another go! Thing is hauling and is forceful this year
Cool that it's back to Medusa. I have so many fond memories of riding the original incarnation as a kid and when it became Bizarro it always felt a little bit off. I think it and Batman The Ride are the only big roller coasters left from my first trip where I was still very short and could only aspire to the big coasters.
Haven't been past this channel in awhile, so much has happened since I've checked you out. Having a significant other to enjoy your journey to amazing rides and at my home park. Yes "EL TORO" is so awesome of a ride, I remember getting on it like wooden roller coaster (THEY JUST REMOVED VIPER) was not expecting that.....WOW!!! Anyway, happy for you brother and GOD BLESS!
Giving a Park a lick of paint and some new signs and minor new buildings can make a massive difference to a park's feel, it's not quite as good as a new ride but it makes it feel like an improvement has been made
I'm so glad that it fits into the Wild West theme again. Perhaps they will clear out some of the Safari Stuff now that It's mostly the Drive through again. I see Best of the west is getting an overhaul too IDK if it's done yet or not. They should also reclaim parts of the Golden Kingdom Outpost and leave the Zoo as the entrance to that area instead, because It seems a bit discontinuous. PS There is an airport near Six Flags where the Hindenburg blew up.

Great video! Medusa first opened the year I graduated high school in 1999, so I love that it's reverted to its original form. And El Toro is always my fave. Can't wait to get back there!
Although I dont live In NJ anymore, this was my home park and when nitro came out it was mind blowing. El Toro and Nitro are the best rides in the park besides good old SKULL MOUNTAIN.
Was this the last ride themed to Bizarro? Because if so, it’s kinda bittersweet considering how often they reuse the same few DC characters. Also props to Great Adventure for such an amazing looking experience. My last visit was in June during a rainstorm so it wasn’t nearly as cool. Wish I could’ve been there while this was happening.
I went there with my friend on August 2nd, it was my first time at a Six Flags park! Rode just about all the roller coasters including Kingda Ka, TWICE!
I rode this ride twice during the spring preview, it’s a good ride!! Im so angry that I never rode it before it changed back to Medusa, it’s not as bad as I thought
I wish this video had come out a couple months ago. I was there in June and I was very sad about the food offerings. I didn't even know all those options were available. Medusa is great. Batman and Jersey Devil are both super fun. Great park.
Medusa/Bizarro/Medusa is the most underrated coaster there. Just non-stop turns and inversions. The fact that it's a bit off the beaten path makes it even better as the lines usually aren't as bad.

Totally agree, I rode it back in may in the back, and it wasn't that bad. Rode it 6 days ago, the back for me now is unridable. It was incredibly rough that I wanted it to end, so now imma probaby just ride 2nd to back, which is much better.
Yesterday I got to dual Kingda Ka on the way down Zumanjaro. It was amazing and a great experience. I was also surprised how similar the speeds were with the two rides and we got to dual the whole way down
Maybe I just got a bad ride, but I got shaken, rattled, and big time head banging on Medusa. It really a shame I felt this nausea because this ride actually looked like a high class floor less. Glad to see you guys had a great time on it though!
Oh damn! I was there too! I didn't see you there! I got to ride Jersey Devil (got three rides on it, including a night ride). My very first time riding an RMC. And I'm gonna say, ... my new favorite ride in the park. Yep, that's right. I liked it more than Nitro & El Toro.
just this past week I went on El Toro in the back row for the first time in years, and it was NUTS. Definitely was a little rough, but I was FLYING in my seat over every hill. The last hill at 16:25 is CRAZY and literally tries to kill you, the airtime is so darn strong
Funny story for you, so I’m from jersey, I been riding Medusa/bizarro since it came out, I still remember when six flags would do commercials to promote their upcoming new rides. Anywho me and some friends went to six flags to ride it when it first came out and that was a big thing growing up when spring hit yo wait and see what new rides are coming out as back then we didn’t have as extensive of the Internet as we do now to just look it up. but we were young and dumb, so we decided to drink everclear before going to ride rides, so we got on Medusa first because it was the newest ride, that was when I learned it’s bad idea to drink and ride. So we ride Medusa, everybody was fine except my one buddy, immediately when we got into the station he puked all over and we had to just off the ride before the workers directed us to smh, the things you do when your young lol
For your next Europe trip you definitely need to stop by the UK - Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and Flamingo Land (10 credits, 4 amazing thrill coasters including Sik dubbed the UK's best coaster)
I need to get on some coasters with you guys. My life i been on rides front row, middle row, back rows. And got people holding onto me cause they were too scared to get on the basic coasters and anything that is not as dramatic as Kingda Ka or Eltro
Personally, i dont enjoy floorless coasters. I genuinely just think your flying around will really strong G’s pushing down on you. I may enjoy medusa but i probably wouldn’t have the feel to re-ride it. Its sure looks awesome though!
I have a question when you were there was kingda ca closed because I went there same day as you guys and we went on kingda ca it was my three time and my friends first and we rolled back
Here's my take on Medusa: I agree. The ride is running better than ever. I agree on the awesome paint job. However I think the retheme is lazy. The object before the loop was meant to be a bizarro thing. And the Medusa sign uses the same sign from Bizarro so you see the Superman logo in the top left corner. And the other effects, besides the fire, just don't seem to fit this retheme.

They didn’t keep the Superman rings at the bottom of the first drop for homage lol, they just didn’t want to destroy it, same with the building cutouts

Great Adventure will always be a great park and I am surprised at how much it improved glad to have this park as my home park

Medusa is a crazy good floorless and unlike Magic Mountain, it has working fire effects.

Medusa is my 3rd favorite coaster of all time, and I'm confident in saying it's one of the best floorless coasters out there.
El toro is pretty rough on any wheel seat... Wish there was a way to smooth that kingda ka launch out
