I wish they had the video of Freedom Hall concert. I took my Mother to that concert. It was on her Birthday. She was so excited but Mother died in 2013. I would love to have the video . I can't find it anywhere.. we lived in Kingsport Tennessee.
      Concert was March 17, 1976.

Fantastic interview with Mr. James and Mrs. Dean Ramsey. Sad that later onfew they were not able to connect with Elvis especially in the 1970s before Elvis death. Thank you Mr. Spa Guy for another fantastic interview. Thank you for all of your hard work in order for we Elvis fans to learn about more of the Elvis history. Have a blessed week.
PS:. The Army base in Texas is Ft. Hood. Being from a military family have been there a few times.

    Hi from England
SPA GUY your interviewing skills are wonderful. Actually these are more like a good old "chat" You are able to ask the right questions and allow James the interviewee to tell their "stories" and tell of their life experiences with ELVIS
James is around 82 - he looks more like 72. Again we have the opportunity to listen and watch him and its all about memories made of such a long time ago -60 + years
The pics are AWESOME and look so treasured.😊😊😊😊👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹

But with the risk of being called a "smart alec" i just noticed that i think some dates or towns must have been mixed up when discussing the concerts in Asheville. He only played Asheville in 75 and the sundial was only worn in on tour in 77 (worn in Lake tahoe in 74, but never on tour). Maybe they saw him in some other town in North carolina around 76/77 or they actually saw him in 1975. This was not intended as being picky or anything, just me being a nerd when it comes to dates and events in general!
Great research and interviews as always.

Spa Guy, it was wonderful you could interview someone else that could tell you about ELVIS firsthand. I remember Elvis saying it was very cold in Germany, and he did not like it. The man and his wife were very nice to talk with about him. I am glad his wife, daughter, and friend did not leave when he was an hour late for the concert, they would have missed a concert of a great entertainer (close to the stage too). That is a beautiful train station in Bristol, TN! I did not know that was a real scene in the movie of the tank firing and blowing up the house. Wouldn't you love to buy a tank of gas for a tank today? Ha. The many places that Elvis had been, and history. ❤

Went to the same basic training as Elvis did and went through the school of armor. Was well versed and educated in it. Would be happy to help preserve the history of it accurately and I don’t live far from you. Wrong on the turquoise grip 45 I believe. It was a 22. But, I’m sure he most likely had more than one caliber with a turquoise group but, the one on display is a 22 current day that is
