Can these pedals be used with the Sim-Lab inversion kit?

Very good review. Thanks for being honest and open about everything. I am intrigued by the pedals.

Love these pedals. But yea, braking hurts when racing in regular socks. I hope they have aftermarket pedal faces in the pipeline.

Bought these pedals and noticed the clunking noise too. Would appreciate a spring revision!

Thanks for the review, I bought these pedals, added them to the rig yesterday evening but no time to try them out yet. I have UK shoe size 9.5/10 but the height of the pedals is not an issue for me. Maybe that is because I have the pedal deck horizontal and I added the heel rest and the pedal plate with sliders to it and I used the highest spacers that come with the heel rest.
Maybe first step is to get the pedal deck horizontal and adjust the angle of the pedals on pedals side instead of pedal deck?

Great video. I see you were using a base plate and heel plate. Are these via sim lab too?

    • @UnicornReviews

The base plate is just the gt1 evo pedal plate. I mounted the fanatec csl heelplate to that base plate with the spare 8040 profile that came with the gt1 evo (should be used for shifter/handbrake)

You said the Asetek pedals don't offer the spacing flexibility, which is not quite right. They have the Forte and Invicta S, which have seperate brake and gas pedals. They do cost 50€ more than the non S version though.

The too high pedal plates is an issue I've seen on more premium pedal sets now. I have size 41 and like to kind of just slide on the throttle in a 45 degree angle, not in a 90 degree angle. I don't get why most premium pedals are designed that way, my Thrustmaster pedals are shit but at least they are comfortable. Why can't they add bigger pedal plates like on the Simforge...

Honestly apart from looks and how the pedal faces feel all elastomer based load cells without dampers feel more or less the same. They do look nice.

Thanks for the review...it's been useful. I'm thinking of these pedals too but I have to take measure and possible possibly build something on top fo the baseplate as they are very high. Simlab, this is annoying.
Are you so gentle to measure the distance between the baseplate and the middle of the Pedal face? So again from the base where the pedals are screwed to the middle of the pedal face? I want to compare them to mine and see where we stand. Thanks

I should have added that info to my video... My apologies.. I'll measure in all 4 positions and add it as a pinned comment. I'm not home until thursday tho.

The height of the pedal face compared to the "ground level" is 21cm. The HE Sprint are the same, 21cm. And the HE Ultimates are 22cm to center. It looks like the height of the pedal face is exactly more less were it should be, but would be good if there is an option to lower it a cm.

      @UnicornReviews  Před 8 měsíci +2

Angle of the pedal will also affect perceived height between your heel on the "floor" and the pedal center. As you can see in the video, mine are pretty flat which makes the pedal center feel higher.

Can i put the XP1 in Gt omega art?

I've had 2 major failures with the Throttle pedal, both times the bracket holding theagnetic sensor has sheared off the base of the pedal. Once may have been a flaw, but 2. The pedals are not fit for purpose.

I have just received correspondence fro Sim Lab. They are sending me yet another Throttle, stating "They are confident the issue will be resolved " I wonder if they have changed the design 🤔
